That is funny, then how do patients on low carb diets have their numbers decrease so much that they do not have to take any medicine?????

There are so many people doing low fat and still cannot lose. There are so many people doing low fat and are still diabetic and hypertensive. It does not matter who says it, low carb gets these numbers in a good range and takes off the weight.:wink:

I have the same problem with not eating my calories. It does not matter to me because I am not going to eat when I am not hungry. That is what got me here in the first place!! When I went into the store yesterday, I saw a fit woman at the fresh doughnut section. I thought to myself, she can eat those because she works hard, but for me NO. I do not even want to put that into my body. That is how I have to look at junk foods.

I will say a lot of people bash Phentermine. If you take it, under a doctors care, it is ok. It intended for obese people who need help with appetite suppressant until you get used to eating smaller amounts of food. That it what it is intended for. It is habit forming, so long term use is not recommended.

BTW, Atkins is a low carb lifestyle. I do not have cheat days or any of that, this is how I eat all of the time.

I keep my carbs at 30, which is low carb to me. Some other people keep it below 50. Just depends on what works for you. :wink:

Cut out some carbs!! My stomach is the first thing to go when I do this. Also what the above posters said about the exercises.

I eat whenever, even a 1/2 hour before bed. This has not made a difference in my weight loss at all.

This is correct. If carbs are there they are burned, not fat. That is the whole point of ketosis, eliminate the carbs and burn fat. I feel wonderful in ketosis and I work out.

Mondesa, how often are you weighing? I thought for sure I should have lost like 3 pounds the other day. When I did, it was only 1.5. The next day I weighed just to see, and I had lost 3 more!!! I think sometimes it is just wacky. I would wait and see if it continues.

Try it and see how you feel. I have no problem with energy and no problem with staying on track. To me 100 grams is not loe carb, but it might work for yo.

I have to say low carb. I have tried both. On low fat I was dizzy, always hungry, and not losing very much weight. I could not wait for my cheat day. I read the original book and I agree!! I have mine set on here as 30 but I never reach it. I mostly eat a meat with vegetables, or just a veggie casserole. I think if I were to raise my carbs more than this, I would not lose the weight I need to lose, which is about 80 more pounds. :happy:
