  • I just focused on diet for my first 2 weeks as well. Then I have slowly been adding some exercise routines. There is some saying about 80% diet and 20% gym.
  • This is the encouragement I needed tonight. You look incredible! Thank you for sharing.
  • I have 3 kids. 5, 3 and 8.5 months. I'm ready to lose the baby weight from all 3 and get back into shape so I can enjoy life with my kids. Want to be friends and motivate each other? I'd like to lose 48lbs ideally.
  • I had a baby 9 weeks ago and have had a really rough recovery. I still can't do much exercise but am going to try to focus on diet. I'm breastfeeding so I have to be careful there as well but I'm totally ready for a change. I would love motivation and support.
  • We are trying for #3 right now. If we are successful this cycle our due date will be around January 27th. We have gotten pregnant twice on the first try so we are hopeful but I know it isn't always that easy. I hope I get to join you ladies!
  • My first baby I was 10 days overdue when I was induced and I had been in labor 24 hours when my doctor insisted I needed a C-section. He had just broke my water and saw that there was meconium in it and thought the baby needed to come out right then and there. There was a woman doctor on duty at the hospital who came to…
  • My plan is to run 2 miles on MWF and 1 mile on TTh. By just having the distance as my goals I can speed up and get done quicker which will be nice. I am going to start 30DS as well.
  • I thought I was going to finish Friday but I got the stomach flu again! Then I got a fever after that. My husband told me that since I had already done Days 1 and 2 of week 9 that I could count myself as finished but I just didn't feel like I had finished. So this morning I took some ibuprofen to try to knock the fever out…
  • Your pictures are my motivation for the day. I have been exercising but my eating is falling way below par lately. You give me the motivation to start working on that again.
  • Week 8 Day 3 done! It wasn't too bad today and I feel awesome! Only 1 week left.
  • Monday was tough and I hurt the rest of that day but Wednesday was way easier and I've felt great ever since that workout. I'm actually looking forward to running tomorrow. It is very hard when I'm running it but I know I can do it so I just do and it is so worth it when I'm done. My husband is very proud of me and so am I!
  • Week 8 Day 2 done. Only 4 more workouts until it is finished! Can't believe I've come this far.
  • Completed Week 8 Day 1! It feels like pure torture but it is so worth the feeling after I am done!
  • Stomach flu. I took 9 days off but got back in it this morning. It felt awesome to just pick back up and run for 25 minutes straight after 9 days off. I'm tougher than I thought!
  • I'm here but I am sick at the moment. I'm really disappointed that I can't do my running today. I had finished Week 7 Day 1 and I don't know how far this sickness will set me back. I'm really bummed. Any advice on how to get back into it after I can start eating again to regain my strength?
  • Week 6 Day 3 done. I don't want to scare anyone but it was very very hard. You have to have will power and determination. I am a very stubborn person so I think that is the only reason I finished. Each minute I kept telling myself to just run for 1 more minute and I did that for the last 15 minutes. Another thing that kept…
  • Just finished Week 6 Day 2. This will be my last interval running. Starting Friday I won't have any runs less than 25 minutes! That is really scary to me so for my motivation I picked out some workout clothes that I get to buy once I have completed C25k. Also next week I will be staying in a motel all week so I will have…
  • Just finished Week 5 Day 3! The last 2.5 minutes were killer! My feet hurt, my body is trembling and I got shin splints in my left leg but I have to say I'm glad I did it! I am very impressed with how quickly I catch my breath and my heart rate comes down when I'm done. My body is definitely getting more fit. My husband is…
  • Believe it or not but once you get into the longer runs I find it harder to take a walking break and get back into it. It's like once you run so far your body just hits a rhythm and you could go forever. I find that after I take a walk break the first couple of minutes of the next run are pure torture but if you keep…
  • Just completed week 5 day 2! I am 185lbs and have asthma. If I can do it you can do it! I'm scared of Friday doing a 20 minute straight run but I'm going to give it all I got.
  • Name: Jessica Location: Nebraska Age: 27 Goal: Get back to pre-pregnancy weight so I can do it all over again. I don't want to risk having an unhealthy pregnancy. Was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in high school but have proven to myself that I have overcome it by running. Nothing made me happier than the first…
  • I just finished week4 day 3 this morning. I have tried it once before and got through the end of week 5 and then got sick. My kids both have colds at the moment and I'm dreading catching it because I'm afraid it will throw me off again. Any ideas of how to stay on track when sick? I have asthma and when I get a cold…
  • HUGE difference! Amazing job!
  • I started carb cycling yesterday. I am a 27 year old stay at home mother of two. I have about 35lbs to lose. How is it going for you all? It is certainly making me much more aware of what I am eating! I had always just watched calories before but never paid much attention to the type of calories I was eating. I'm finding…
  • I just joined this group the other day. I have had trouble losing weight after having my 2 kids. I need to lose about 30lbs to be healthier. My goal in Sept is to have salad every day for lunch and to work on the C25k running program. I am currently on week 3 so by the end of Sept I should be able to run 20min without…
