I personally think MFP is much friendlier and intimate compared to sparkpeople. Love MFP and it's newsfeed! Feel free to add me if you need some kick butt friends :) It's always nice to add new friends for motivation!

Stir fry with tofu or tempeh, black bean chili, bean and cheese burritos, lentil soup.....hope that helps some. Also, i love garden burgers or soy patties. They have quite a bit of protein, it surprised me!

But is it worth having to eat 1200 calories for life because of the fear of gaining the weight back? She could safely lose on a higher calorie diet and I would bet, since she is not losing on 1200 calories, that eating more would help her. :)

I see that you have your diary set for 1200 calories and that just makes me sad! You are busting your butt and leaving a HUGE deficit every day.
