MFP was the first app of its kind that I came across, I'd never actively tried to lose weight before. It's sort of a game for me, and I like being the high scorer eg, keeping days in a row up, trying to get to macro goals etc. The weight loss has been a bonus

Set your calorie goal to maintenance for 3 days and enjoy your holiday :flowerforyou:

1 If you mean food items then you can click the boxes down the side of items and choose add checked. 2 Depends on your phone, I can on my Galaxy s4, I use the Opera app. 3 Go to weigh in and edit previous entries, every weigh in is there 4 Don't be lazy

Going off your ticker and the weight loss you want to achieve I'd say you'll be starving yourself for vanity on 1200 calories, I'd definitely eat back every calorie burned if I was you. Go to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and see what your BMR is and don't go below that number.

I'm assuming that last time you lost weight quickly you gained it back again? Is that what he wants? A yo-yo dieter? Or does he want you to get thin and healthy the right way and be able to maintain a weight loss? Maybe you should show him some of the responses you get :flowerforyou:

Personal preference, same as I personally prefer to use the search function before posting topics that have already been flogged to death :flowerforyou:
-
That's nice dear :flowerforyou:

I've noticed it's usually proceeded by the poster saying the same thing over and over on the same post, no-one quotes or agrees with them so suddenly they are the victim of bullying...
-
It makes me sad that there are ADULTS who have no idea what cyber bullying is. A difference of opinion is not the same as bullying :flowerforyou:

I weigh less than you and I'm not exercising but before pregnancy I was losing very well eating 1800 calories (currently maintaining on 2100). I don't think you are eating enough :flowerforyou:

The comments you call "far from helpful" are probably the most helpful comments on the topic! Just because you don't like what they say or how you perceive the comments have been made doesn't mean that they aren't the best possible advice. Also maybe you would benefit from using the search function before you post a topic…

Ditto, although we got conned out of a couple of GB of internal memory compared to the s3...

If the treadmill is a regular thing maybe work it into your activity level so you don't need to worry about the burn. If you go to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and work out your calories with the correct activity level you don't need to add exercise calories :flowerforyou:

Make sure you give all changes around 8 weeks to take effect

I usually drink coffee throughout the day (can't so much now that I am pregnant) Usually 2 cups of strong black regular coffee with no sugar (before I came here it was white coffee one sugar). There have been months where I have completely given up coffee and survived. Was there a point to the question? :flowerforyou:

Yes, and obviously not the only one, thanks for feeling the need to single me out :drinker:

Ever heard of the search function :flowerforyou:

OP, member since 2011 and NEVER come across this topic on the message boards before? It's ridiculous that the exact same topic can be posted over and over with the exact same responses. If these things worked the world would be thin, not exactly rocket science. MFP: I propose implementing a system, similar to the food…

Freddie Mercury, I was 11. I think it was the first celebrity I "knew" who died, I cried for days

if you only have 12lbs to lose (per your ticker) you should be set to lose 0.5lb (1600) or even maintain (so 1850) at sedentary, your exercise will help you to get shape/ lose the weight to goal
-
It says they used sedentary settings to get the figures so in that instance you would eat back exercise calories :flowerforyou:

1. The day I seriously considered making myself sick after a meal, I even got to the point where I did a search to see how many calories I would get rid of and it took me straight to a MFP forum topic where the person who asked the question was getting a strip tore off her (Tough love really works well for me, it was a…

No! Don't do that, you'll be netting under BMR which is not good. Your BMR (according to scoobysworkshop) is 1638, to lose at TDEE-20% at lightly active you should be eating 1802 and ignoring exercise cals (they are already calculated in.) I had lost 98lbs before I got pregnant using this method so it does work, you have…

I have no idea what a "trigger food" is. I do however know what self control is :flowerforyou:

Honestly, there is no such thing as an English accent, it's like saying an American accent, there are so many variations and even the words people say in our tiny country are not understood by all :flowerforyou:

I don't think people choose to be obese, they just don't choose to do anything to fix it. I don't think it's an illness but I think that millions of people will now use that as an excuse for their weight and the problem will continue to grow because of it.

"Cyberbullying is the use of the Internet and related technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner." As far as I can see disagreeing with someone and offering advice with the intent to HELP rather than harm is not cyberbullying :flowerforyou:

Enjoy your holiday and try to stay below maintenance. Although it wouldn't really hurt to just do the enjoy your holiday part :flowerforyou:
