You have been a member since 2010 and had been losing weight before your daughter was even born. I can't believe anyone would sit back and let their child learn unhealthy eating habits when they have MFP as a tool for themselves and have already dealt with their own weight issues, and to then place the blame solely on…

Do you think fresh 100% natural fruit and vegetables are healthier OR processed chemicals with added sweeteners that are turned into a powder/tablet? Have you ever read the ingredient list for JuicePlus+ items? I honestly can't believe someone would slate vitamin supplements in such a way and then go on to endorse…

Absolutely not necessary. OP read the sexypants link above, eat at a modest deficit (TDEE -20% is a good start) and try toget some exercise for health benefits. And remember it's not a race or Biggest Loser. Good luck :flowerforyou:

For your age, height and weight you're in the healthy BMI range. Ask yourself why this number on the scale important to you? Why not work on body composition by lifting weights and ignore the number on the scale :flowerforyou:

You're not gaining muscle on 1200 calories either, read the links

Yesterday you posted to say you've lost 4lb in 2 weeks, that's amazing progress. Don't be so hard on yourself. Weight loss isn't linear. Just keep accurately tracking your food and eating at a small deficit and you'll do fine :flowerforyou:

No!! That''s not how MFP works, if you're following MFPs calorie goal your deficit is already built in so you're supposed to eat back those calories otherwise you're creating too large a deficit

Where am I looking? I went back a month and saw a couple of sporadic 800-1000 calorie days. You DEFINITELY aren't building any muscle eating so low. You need to weigh and log EVERYTHING you eat. Go to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ answer all the questions HONESTLY (especially activity level) Choose the…

Open your diary ETA at 5ft10 you're right in the middle of healthy weight, 120lbs would put you in the very underweight category

It depends on what you class as sedentary? You already said you exercise a couple of days a week, throw into that housework etc that already bumps you up to at least lightly active. There's not really a need to lose at 2lb per week, set your goal to lose 1lb a week, some weeks you might notice you lose a bit more than that…

It depends. What is your calorie goal, how many are you actually eating?
-
You could hit your macros eating foods you did like, no need to eat Greek yoghurt if you don't like it

*Note* The majority of the posters who thought this was a good idea have either deactivated or not logged in for a very long time, a lot of tickers are at a standstill. I don't think it worked, do you?

http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-living/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/detox-diets/faq-20058040 "Some people report feeling more focused and energetic during and after detox diets. However, there's little evidence that detox diets actually remove toxins from the body. Indeed, the kidneys and liver effectively…

First (and only) time I went on the treadmill the trainer told me to be careful as I was getting off it, "I'm fine... oof" jelly legs made me faceplant the floor.

Define working. Of course you are losing weight, you're in a huge deficit, that doesn't make it healthy or sustainable. OP Try to reach your calorie GOAL each day, it doesn't matter what time you eat your calories

That looks better than it did but it's still not accurate, you can't measure chicken and potatoes in cups

Football and my husband snoring :explode:

One week is not a plateau, a 26 yr old male should not be eating so few calories, do you weigh and log everything you eat and drink? I'm amazed you can do any exercise on so few calories
-
A HRM would be more accurate, It only matters if you're going to eat back what you burn (just off your diary for the last few days I don't think you do?) :flowerforyou:

Every woman will be different. Start here: scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and see what that gives, my maintenance is 2300 so 1600 sounds really low to me, but like I said we're all different :flowerforyou:

Probably most people

The weight is coming off, just slowly. If you aren't losing at 1200 calories I'd be tempted to say you aren't weighing and logging accurately. The way MFP is set up is that a deficit is already built in so you need to eat back exercise calories. At 58 kilos you are right in the middle of the healthy BMI range. Why not work…
