None of them will make it onto my ipod. My guilty pleasure, which did, is the 2010 winning song Satellite by Lena. Don't know what that tells you about my taste in music :embarassed:

They lost out in the qualifying round that Cheesecake got through

Iceland, Greece, France, Denmark or The Netherlands for me, but I've never picked the winner yet

Nearly as bad as my husband saying Poland will probably get 12 points from us :ohwell:

He looks like someone else but I can't think who?

1st time I've heard the UK entry. Disappointed after the hype :indifferent:

I like the Danish one. Cheesy pop

Is France taking the P out of Austria with the Moustache Song?
-
Yeah, Graham's not a patch on Sir Terry

There are some miserable people about, we watch it for the craic, not the competition, too many British people take it too seriously :drinker: :flowerforyou:

Nobody disputes that you can lose weight faster but it is a well known fact that the majority of people who go on a crash diet or lose the weight fast are more likely to regain their weight back when they start to eat "normally", that's why slow and steady wins
-
OP's page states she is 19 and lost 13lbs. I very much doubt this applies.
-
I weigh the bits I eat
-
If you ate at maintenance and concentrated all your exercise on lifting heavy your shape would change, you would lose fat and inches and the number on the scale wouldn't be as much of an issue

40g of all bran with 50ml semi skimmed milk( I don't like much milk in my cereal) is 188 cals and 11g of fiber, I try to aim for about 30g a day but I rarely get there :indifferent:
-
Weighing has become second nature to me, so much so that my husband automatically weighs food when he knows it is for me. It is something I will do forever just because I'm in the habit.

So...Your argument that they aren't correlating. I've borrowed this from another post but:

You got peoples input. Just to help you, as you are new to the forums, at the top of the page there is a tab called search. If you click on that and type in your topic you will find a huge range of opinions on this topic (that's the ones that haven't ended up locked and deleted) maybe that would be a better place to start…

We really need a "FFS not this again" smiley, a combination of these I think   :explode: :grumble: :noway: :flowerforyou:

Not so much what I used to eat, more the 2 bottles of wine I drank EVERY night :ohwell:

General rule of thumb, if you have to ask is it likely to work it probably won't. It's very rare that someone asks "will exercise and a slight calorie deficit make me lose weight" :flowerforyou:

I wonder what it is about this thread that makes people sign up to MFP and leave their first post here months after it was posted? It's odd that 2 people have done that

While it's true that if you do the same exercise over and over you get more efficient at it and therefore burn less you won't ever stop burning calories from doing it. Split up your workouts over a couple of programmes so you're exercising different muscles on alternate days

If you want this picture to post click on the IMG link on the right hand side then come here and paste it you will get delete everything either side of (keeping the middle bit) and change the IMG to img your image will post then

Not true, it's quite easy to reach reasonable protein goals as a vegan. OP try to add nut butter, quinoa, spinach, tofu, lentils, beans and tempeh to your diet
-
Just from looking through the past few days I can see that you're either not logging consistently or are eating sometimes 800 calories per day. If you're not losing weight I'd go with inconsistent logging. How long have you stayed at the same weight?
-
Neither. I'd say active. There are very few people who are truly sedentary

You are confusing BMR and TDEE
