  • I have considered it but I imagine you would burn up your batteries doing that
  • at the 6 month mark I have lost 37lbs. I haven't weighed myself in the past couple of weeks so Im not sure what/if I have lost.
  • Im not an expert, I have been doing yoga off an on for about 10 years and tried a gamut of different classes. I have always found that stretching after working out means less stiff muscles later. If you go up to the instructor before class and let them know your concerns with your knee they can offer alternatives to poses…
  • I got some Warner brand undies from Kohl's. They are super comfy and do not ride up. http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/zbrandskiosk/intimates/warners/panties/PRD~734735/Warners+No+Pinching+No+Problem+LaceTrim+Hipster.jsp
  • Just sign up and keep training. Once you sign up you will feel the push to make sure you do well. I am doing a 10k on saturday and I def. can't run the whole thing but I am just going to participate for the fun!
  • RVA, add me if you want :)
  • Im doing the C25k Treadmill version (http://www.c25k.com/c25k_treadmill.html), next week is going to be the start of week 2 for me. I am not a runner but I want to be, I have a 5k mud run on May 18th.
  • I have had this problem my whole life too. I feel like a lot of it comes from growing up, my family situation was basically "you eat what you want now because there wont be leftovers".. meaning my parents always ate big portions and so I got in to the habit of eating a lot of something at one time almost as an obsession…
  • Try hot (bikram) yoga. Although you can't spot reduce fat it is a good water weight killer which should help reduce gut bloat right before the wedding.
  • edit: cant resize the pic but you get the idea ground beef, rice and kale stuffed bell peppers
  • Oh and I forgot Bryce Howard
  • lauren ambrose beyonce
  • My idea about this has always been because you stretch your stomach out (especially if a lot of those cals came from carbs) with all that food and so now when your stomach is empty it has a big void to fill. Think about people who are super morbidly obese that you see on TV. They can consume tens of thousands of calories…
  • Awesome, great job! I too cannot wait until I get there (6 pounds to go until Onderland)
  • I am 206, 5'4 and a size 16. Hoping to be 180 in 6 months or less :)
  • From my own experience of being that big as a child, it was terrible. I luckily did not have diabetes or any other major medical problems. I felt embarassed, inadequate, and thought I would never date growing up (I never actually did date until I was 18 and started to lose weight and gain confidence). My parent's had their…
  • Pistachios Larabar (I like most flavors) Almonds Apple w/ almond butter greek yogurt with fresh or frozen fruit 100 cal popcorn Whole grain crackers with hummus baby carrots with tatziki
  • -My husband and I are doing a 5k "mud run" where you run across rocks at the river, climb haybales and crawl through mud -wearing cute sundresses -getting a bathingsuit that is adorable and not plain black and not having to wear a huge swim skirt -being the skinniest that I have ever in my adult life :)
  • this has been me recently, the guys in the muscle room don't make me feel intimidated anymore now that I just walk in there confidently, do my sets and leave. -you know you are serious when your husband asks you if you want a second helping at dinner and you know that it would make up feel like crap and mess up your…
  • OMG your #1 is the same for me too. My husband is a former Marine and has gotten so out of shape. He has the ability to get back in shape (we have a family YMCA membership and I bought him a Jiu Jitsu class package), and he has amazing muscle memory.. he just will not do anything to get healthy and in shape even though he…
  • I struggle with this too, I know he wants kids but I don't (the kid in my profile pic is a nephew). Ive told him this, he says "its ok" that I don't want kids, but I really fear he will resent me if I don't give him one. You can still be a good parent and you will obviously love the child either way, even if it was not…
  • I pay $27 for a family membership (me and my husband) to my YMCA on a reduced rate, that is the reduced fee I think its about $30-40 a person if you don't get the reduced income rate.
  • Hummus (any flavor you like I use I like spicy pepper, red pepper or jalepeno & cilantro) laughing cow cheese salsa verde all sorts of peppers (bell, green, banana) olives (I dont do this but my husband does) onions spinach (or any greens you like)
  • Eggbeaters, spinach, turkey sausage on whole grain bread. Or Greek yogurt, frozen fruit and almond milk smoothie.
  • Ham Sandwich! *hammy for short :)
  • I do this, it makes me feel like "hey the plate is full I should be too". Works with things like home made burgers or other sandwiches, you naturally have it in your mind (if you grew up on fast food like I did) that you HAVE to have a side. Unless its a side of veggies you dont need it! Plus you can just put veggies like…
  • Watching the Biggest Loser may be inspiring but it is not realistic in terms of pounds lost per week. Be patient with yourself and don't beat yourself up if you aren't losing 5-10lbs a week like you see on tv.
  • This is awesome. lol
  • This. and tasty tasty milk chocolate
  • Finally I dont. Our entire relationship I had about 20 lbs on him until this year. so sweeet
