Mix up your running with strength training. I alternate days so I run outside on certain days, and others I'm in the gym for weights.

I motivate myself. I set a goal and I do what I can to reach it. I've come a long way since I was almost 300 pounds 3 years ago!

You can do it! It'll take time though. I've been told the food diary helps a lot on here. Plus if you do at least 30 mins of cardio per day to start out you'll be on the right track!! Good luck!!

Hello! 6 pounds isn't much. I would just kick up the high intensity cardio like running.

Walking at an incline helps too!! It will tone your legs and butt fast!

Welcome! What about elliptical? Sometimes I do weights that it feels like cardio!! Mountain climbers and blurpies will get your heart rate up. Jumping jacks, Zumba will help too!

I work at a desk job as well. I try to bring my lunch to work as much as possible so fast food won't temp me. I was hooked on sodas a while back, gave them up one year and lost weight. Replace soda with water! I drink 60-100oz of water at work and it helps! Good luck on your journey. You can do it!!

By running I have noticed my legs getting toned and decrease in fat in my outer thighs. I love seeing results because it makes me more motivated to continue to do what I'm doing.
