havent read all the replies but if she put on a lot of weight over a short amount of time i'd want to approach her less about the weight and more to figure out what's going on. lots of times people use extra weight as a security blanket/extra buffer to protect themselves from some situation

i have a dense and coarse afro, so for me, anything past BSL (bra strap length) is too long.. too much hair, too much conditioner, too much time styling, too much time needed to dry, too many instances of shampoo and conditioner left in my hair after 5 minutes of rinsing, too much detangling. ive gone to waist length to…

sounds like you need a better trainer who will listen to you. i also agree that you maybe gave them a bit too much stuff that you want to work on. maybe focus on the top 3 and once those are accomplished move on to other idea. having a program that focuses on 10 different things is essentially the same as not having a…

i did the zombies run 5k app. same idea as c25k, but there's a fun storyline

but if i did what pray tell would you have to do with your time. besides that i'm doing a public service, my post allows you to be a jerkface which undoubtedly saves the lives of all the puppies and kittens you'd be kicking otherwise

get a crockpot. those are well worth the $40 investment also mfp has a recipe builder. just put in the ingredients and number of servings you are making then voila calories per serving

you cant just give it a week and give up. you didnt gain weight in a week, it probably took years of work. why expect the reverse to be true?

resistance bands are better than nothing plus it's going to depend on what you have access to. i personally prefer free weights which means gym is in order since i dont have the space in my studio for a squat rack, weights, etc. if you dont have access to weights then maybe check out bodyweight strength training…

well why not try both and see what you prefer. as long as you are challenging yourself and eating at a deficit then you'll lose weight
-
so healthy just means low calorie? why not just eat water and ice and be super healthy?

yeah but not everyone can do cold turkey. baby steps between A and Z still eventually gets you to Z. and if this thread depresses you, i envy your life. i'd love to not have problems of my own that i got to internalize what other people go through.

exactly. i'm a big eater but i have been having success with picking and choosing my battles. for instance i'm very much saltycrunchy's *kitten* (especially certain times of the month) i usually plan ahead and will leave space in my calories for that bag of flaming hot cheetos or whatever i decide to go saltycrunchy…

are you vegetarian? if not then meat, eggs, fish. i also like think thin bars .. 20 g of protein and 200-250 calories. the brownie crunch is good

make your own. get some corn tortilla (or the trader joe brown rice ones because this is the only use i've found for those wraps!) cut then into triangles, spray a bit of olive oil on (a bit not a lot since you want then to stay crispy), throw on some seasonings (i like salt, pepper and tagorashi powder) . lay out on a…

if you're taking meds to control your pressure then it's not a problem. but really you want to clear this with your doctor. mine cleared me . the only issues is that sometimes the pills can make my BP too low, which can be bad while lifting

me.. i'm not competing this year but plan to next year. this year i'm focused on losing weight (mainly for vanity reasons but some health) my main struggle is inability to see strength gains since i can only seem to devote 1 good session a week to proper strength training. oh i'm on a pretty aggressive deficit too (1000…

OH yeah 34HH here and i only wear my sports bra,. i dont need to wear anything else. that panache bra i posted is pretty good for high impact stuff like sprinting (and trust me that's a whole lot of tittay for that sucker to hold  ) especially when i configure it into the racer back position.

after this amount of time, assuming you dont have any hormonal or or endocrine issues then you simply are either either more food than you realize or eating more than your body needs. and pushing hard in your workouts has o effect on your weight loss if you eating more than your body requires or eating at maintenance

i think you should take a break from weight loss for a LONG time and seek professional help :flowerforyou:
