Does anyone have HBP and use weights to strength train and tone up; I was told people w/ HBP should not lift weights as it raises your blood pressure; what would be another option to tone up???

if you're taking meds to control your pressure then it's not a problem. but really you want to clear this with your doctor. mine cleared me . the only issues is that sometimes the pills can make my BP too low, which can be bad while lifting0

I asked my physician they said not to lift more than 5 lbs, use a 2 or 3 lbs weight, but I was thinking this is not gonna tone at all to light. Just curious, if your pressure gets to low when you take your meds/ why is lifting weights hard (is it muscle weakness)?0
