loose joints/hypermobility are best protected by strengthening the muscles around them which will help keep them stable. i dont get to much popping though unless it's during a massage, but if there's no pain i wouldnt worry about it. oh yeah i also have loose joints

try old navy. i'm starting to be disappointed in their performance for athletic wear in terms of compression and extreme moisture wicking for people like me who sweat buckets, but they are good for yoga where i dont need as much compression or wicking. plus they are almost always on sale and they have some cool ptterns i…

there's pain and there's PAIN. depending on the workout and the weight then there will be some degree of pain, especially if it's a new workout because you are tearing the muscle fibers after all but they will rebuild stronger, which is what you want. as you continue to do the workout (and hopefully increase the tension)…

i'm confused. you lost 4 inches, went from a size 12 to a size 6. what exactly is the problem?
-
the activity doesnt necessarily make you look like a typical person who performs that activity. for instance michael phelps is an awesome swimmer. awesome swimmers tend to have longer limbs (especially arms) than average. michael phelps has longer arms but it's not like swimming made his arm bones grow…

no she doesnt fit many people's expectations about what ballerinas look like because she has boobs and butt. that has nothing to do with the fact that she's short and black. my point in putting her picture there wasnt to say she's muscular, but it's exactly what i said it was "misty copeland is a ballet dancer but doesnt…

my butt has gotten a lot higher and rounder from squats, deadlifts and box jumps, KB swings with as heavy a KB as my gym has (which is just 45 pounds  ) . like someone said, you have to make sure you are getting deep enough in the squat (as well as the box jumps) to make sure you are activating the glutes. i dont do…
-
do you belong to a gym? strong lifts (free program online) it's pretty simple. it's basically 3 moves per workout and the exercises are squats, deadlifts, bench press, barbell row and overhead press

yep i've chafed away skin in various places during workouts thanks to ill fitting bras and panties. be careful in the shower because once the water hits it  it'll heal and like others have said get some better suited shorts
-
why not just do it and see if you like it or not and if it fits your fitness goals. keep in mind fat loss and weight loss are more a factor of how much you eat. the exercise is for fitness. i gained a lot of weight all while consistently working out 5-10 hours a week  i've changed my training sessions into something…
-
your trainer had you doing HIIT on the first day? dangerous and stupid and definitely not worth your money... plus they ook the easy way out and put you on cardio machines? no weight machines? i'd also be leery of any trainer immediately giving advice about nutrition and supplements, that's way to easy to dip into…

that's right because your sense of self worth should be based on what guys may or may not like
-
food. it tastes so good
-
do you have any other health issues like pcos? but if you've lost inches then you're on the right track. it might take a while to show changes on the scale though

muscle is muscle ad we all have the same muscles that attach to the ligaments the same exact way. one has bigger muscles that's all. and a lot of it is genetic. for instance. misty copeland is a ballet dancer but doesnt exactly fit the mold of what people think ballerinas should look like
-
i bet you're fun at parties
-
why not just learn to appreciate them? much of how we look is determined by genes. the only thing we can do is to make ourselves look the best we can for our body type
-
becoming an athlete again putting more weight on the bar going faster having a awesome looking body ETA fave workout : anything involving deadlifts, clean and jerks, sled pushes, turkish get-ups or sprints.. if i could do them all in the same workout without dying i'd consider that the best workout ever!

i agree you dont have to be at goal weight. for me it's all about proportions . at the moment i wear a lot of sheath dress styles like this since they seem to be a bit more forgiving on the belly but i still get to show off some of the figure 8
-
i woukd wear the hell out of #2 with some red heels !!! i like bodycon dresses. can't wear them yet but in about 20 pounds i should be able to to

shepherd's pie from british isles is good most russian, german and polish food is good as well

yes it's pretty basic if you're into trying to explain things via disjointed logic you're basically saying if x is a contributing factor to y, then x is the main contributing factor to y. see there's a step missing there and you're attempting to fill it in with proofiness. even after i listed 2 links with studies that show…

but that's why it's up to them to go to their doctor and rule those things out first? very few people on these forums are doctors or able to give people blood tests simply by reading their post. for the majority of people (as implied in your own OP) calories in and calories are all that matters. it's also pretty much…
-
yeah it is a stretch because you are essentially trying to double count obese people.
-
but again i ask, in what sort of mathematics is 40% a majority? and if you're going to cite studies and number, there shouldnt be a need to "stretch your imagination" unless you're trying to prove a point.
-
sorry but where did you get that number from? how exactly is more than 40% more than half?
-
this is why it's important that people get checked out by their doctor before beginning a diet or exercise program. so many people dont though here's another article. it's mron lyle mcdonald http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/insulin-sensitivity-and-fat-loss.html i think most people on the forums who eye roll the…

it has to do with how you're breathing. take long deep breaths into your diaphragm (which is good all the time anyway) as opposed to quick shallow ones into your chest
