I love looking at other people's diaries too  Its great for ideas on meals and snacks. Sometimes I'll get in a rut of eating the same things over and over, so looking at what someone else has for breakfast or lunch gives me ideas to switch to
-
I'll be adding all of you :)
-
I've been on here a little while, but I'm always looking for more positive friends and motivation  Adding you guys
-
Request sent

Definitely count me in :D

You look amazing!! I'm reading your blog right now and you are such an inspiration :D

Hang in there hon, sounds like a really stressful time :( Try not to focus on the 4 pounds or the bad eating, you can always jump right back on track. It sucks when it happens, but you've just got to look forward, keep your health and goals in mind, and you'll get through this. Are you able to get a good workout in?…

Added a bunch of you who are in the same weight loss goal area as myself, but anyone I missed feel free to add me as well

I'm always looking for more MFP friends to help motivate, friend request sent :)

Feel free to add me as well, I've been on here since 2011 & had lost 45 pounds but really lost focus in 2013 and gained back 25. Started back on track a few weeks ago, I log on every day and try to give lots of support

I'm in the same boat as all of you. I lost 45 pounds in 2012, but 2013 was a very crazy messy year and I've gained back 25 of those pounds. Everyone should add me as well :)

I love running, it gets addicting. Starting back up will be hard, so just hang in there and take it a little bit at a time. 10 miles in 6 months is definitely possible, you'll just have to really dedicate yourself to it :) I'm sure you can find a marathon training schedule online that will help you

& Midnight, the flavor takes a little adjustment but you'll figure out what tastes good with it. I do vanilla powder with orange all the time, it grows on you lol. Some brands even make like Oreo flavor. I get mine at the grocery store, &I've heard GNC has really good flavors

I have a vanilla whey protein that I use, its pretty good. I usually do half a scoop of powder, and mix it in the blender with frozen fruit like strawberries or blueberries, half a banana, some water, ice cubes, maybe a little juice. The protein powder basically is there to balance out all the sugar in the smoothie, it…

I'm reading "skinny chicks don't eat salads" and so far its really good. She's a nutritionist who has tried all sorts of diets and discusses why they didn't work & how to eat right

As long as you have just a glass or two, and log it along with everything you eat, wine should be just fine. I think red wine is actually good for you (your heart specifically I think) so go on & enjoy it :D

Unfortunately, the theme of healthy food being more expensive & you get less of it is reality for off campus too. But you just have to decide that all of the health benefits that come with the healthy food are worth so much more than settling for the cheap, greasy foods. Are there multiple choices for places to eat? I know…

Awesome tips that everyone should follow, thanks for sharing!!

I think your idea about the calories burned is smart. Do both apps take your stats into account/adjust automatically each time you lose? I know one of the apps I have, I have to go in and manually update it each week. As far as the scale issue, what kind of scales are you using? If you are using one thats in a gym or…

First of all, congrats on how much you've lost! I think the issue with the pants size was that you went to goodwill. Sizing changes constantly, and especially from brand to brand. In some brands I'm down to a 12/13, but in other brands I still fit perfectly in my 16s. Try a store/brand that you already own (that are too…

Wow, great job hon!! Such a motivation, your before is very similar to me right now. Keep up the great work :D
-
Keep up the great work hon, you look great so far!

I'm also trying to avoid getting diabetes, so I'm right there with you on trying to just be healthier

If it doesn't feel/look like it fits as well as your bra, exchange it for a different size. Swimsuits in my experience are usually more generous in their sizing, and I'm not sure if its the material or what but yeah, just go try on a different size and see what fits better, since you want to feel good in it :)

I'm commenting on this late, so I hope you made a good choice! I always have these "last calorie snack crams"' at night, so I keep healthy snacks in the house. I always have some skinny cow candies on hand for those sugar cravings, or 100 calorie packs of little cookies. For salt cravings, I have rice crisps or air popped…

I definitely hear you on this. Its hard, but you just have to be that friend that orders the salad when all your friends are eating pizza or fast food at bar close. When I go out, I only have 1 or 2 drinks, and its always a rum & diet since thats only 101 calories. Saves me money on drinks, and spares my body the affects…

Whenever I have really bad food days, I make sure to go work out that night and try to burn off some of that. Always track your food, even when you're way over. Everyone has those days, you just have to remember how it made you sick or disappointed, and use it as motivation to eat right the next day

I'm not sure if that's what's causing it, but it's probably adding to it. Have you tried doing the elliptical? I think the incline might be building muscle, which will make them look bigger. Maybe try something like pilates that is designed to lengthen instead of bulk up
-
I'm going to add all of you! I'm 24, started in november but didn't change my eating habits until december. Down 8 pounds, about 100 left to go :D

Sooo sad about the packers :( but as you said, at least we got miss america!
