I'm going to give that a try. Feels better already!

Yes, you are right. I think this may be part of the learning process/journey of transitioning to maintenance. I want this to be a true lifestyle change and I think a small part of me wanted to "test" the old lifestyle choices to see how they feel.

Thank you all for your comments. This provided a spark I needed to continue to focus on health.

I did WW 5 years ago and lost without exercise. I felt deprived ALL the time. I'm now focusing on fitness/exercise and watching my calories. This time I feel strong and not deprived at all, and I'm losing. I feel like I've made the lifestyle change that I wasn't able to understand before by incorporating exercise.

This sounds good! I eat oatmeal every day and I will definitely try this tropical version. Edit: I meant to quote Elizabeth_M's oatmeal comment!

Seeing the stats from your HRM must have been exciting. Like they say, it's about the journey not the destination and you have made a lifestyle change toward health. Great job!

This is the same for me. As I reviewed my food diary, I realized major calorie overages corresponded with the days I drank wine or beer. I'm going to avoid alcohol for a while.
