Amanda. Nope, but I prefer this lasagna to the traditional. Mostly cuz it tastes really good and I can eat more of it :)

sorry, posted twice for some reason. my bad!

don't know if this helps, but usually someone who is also watching what they eat will be willing to split something small with you. Sometimes I just want the taste of a treat, and the feeling that I"m not completely denying myself. It's not always possible to indulge, but a small indulgence of a half a treat is sometimes…

Foods high in fiber do it for me. They're a little on the high side, calorie-wise, but I tend to eat a lot of beans, nuts and vegetable soup (as a low fat/low calorie option) to fill me up

Fantastic job! I see a big difference. Your tummy is defined and you're looking overall wayyyy leaner :) wtg!

Great job! Gotta bust through that plateau!

I'm an instructor, and I log it under either general or high impact aerobics, according to how hard I"m pushing it :)
-
You look awesome :) Congratulations!

I think when we go to the gym we're a bit narcissistic, but in a good way. The focus should be on yourself and your own workout. I know when I'm teaching dance, I tell the girls to watch themselves, look at their technique, diva it out in the mirror. Some people were apprehensive about other people seeing them dance, but…

You're amazingly inspiring. :)

wow. such great ideas. thank you :) :)
-
heh. thanks for the bump ;)

most likely, but probably proportionally to your body? I used to be a 46G (gah!) and after losing about 50 lbs, I"ve settled into a 36D.

I tend to look at the sugar and fiber. I'm trying to not care so much about calories, as long as what I'm eating is nutritionally sound. For example, I'll eat a handful of raw almonds without worrying too much about the fat, since they are good fats and I'm eating fiber. I'm trying really hard to keep my sugar under 20 for…

LOVING the Enell bra :)

Thanks :) I'm down to my last 20 or so, and it's a challenge :( Yep, but it's easy. You can find out from the zumba website where the workshops are in your area, and then just take a day long workshop, and voila, you're certified :)

It's a lot of fun. Maybe check out some YouTube videos too to get an idea of some of the routines. (I've been an instructor for a year and a half and have lost 50 lbs) :)

hehe :) too true! (I kinda want to eat that hotdog thing, btw)

good for you! and it's true, jeans don't lie. :) You're doing awesome!

I just dislike having to pick up towels from the floor when there are baskets that they go into. Also, I had someone answer their phone in the middle of my class, and then talk IN THE ROOM while the rest of the class was going on. I just turned the music up. High. Passive aggressiveness, gotta love it >;)

I hear with you the binging. I think the thing to do is to not throw your hands up and say, 'well, I had one bad thing, now I can have 20 bad things'. THAT'S the hard part.

Thanks for the water reminder!!! I needed it :)
-
I've done the banana trick and it's unreal :) It tastes JUST like frozen yogurt :)
-
Fantastic results :) Good for you :) :)

Have you tried joining a gym? I find that for myself, group fitness is the way to go, otherwise I get really bored. I need some sort of interaction...

ooh. I want to try the shred as well!!! :)

Here's my schedule for tomorrow. Teaching 1 hour of zumba, then 10 minutes on the stairmaster (100 calories burned. I hate it, but it really works my legs) then 10 minutes on the treadmill, level 3 at incline 10 (blasting music all the way) then working on my abs for 10 minutes, ball lifts with my legs, then leg lifts…

There is Zumba toning now as well. I teach it to my classes, we use small weights and toning sticks, focus on core exercises and target muscle groups :)
-
Awesome :) Can I call the group The Fall Challenge Group? I'll post on the General forum (this one) and we can start tomorrow? I'm new at this, but perhaps intro's to start? :) And then we can post what we did for exercise that day/ what we found challenging as far as eating, and what we're changing to get to our goal...?…

I hear you. We moved last week and I had a week of eating kinda crummy. I didn' t lose, but didn't gain, so that' s good. I started this morning with a protein shake an it seems to have been keeping me on track. Fingers crossed. I think as long as you're aware of a lapse, and even log it, it's all good. This place seems to…
