Yes! I was totally ready set to get knocked up about 4 years ago... but my husband was freaked out. I went to R.N. school, and graduated in the mean time. After nursing school, I was mortified to get preggers. #1 - I saw all the bad crap that can happen to baby & mommy. #2 - I witnessed Labor #3 - I learned the physical…

I like "Navitas Natural" products the best (so far). Twister Power is great, as is the plain Chia Seeds. They also sell these things called GoldenBerries - OMG YUMMY!!! I honestly think the GoldenBerries are my favorite. Plus - I like some of the recipies they have on their website.

I weighed about 130lbs. My gw was initially 130, which I hit - so I decided to shoot for 125. I'm currently sitting at 121 - which is AMAZING! I don't think I've EVER been this weight in my adult life. I'm 5'4" and feel awesome! Thanks to MFP!

You looked stunning then... and you are stunning now!! Congratulations on a huge milestone! You're amazing!

You look GREAT! Congratulations on your run!

It's kind of a pain in the butt without a food dehydrator, but it can be done. The best way would probably be in the oven, at a very low temp, after blanching them. Here's a link... http://lancaster.unl.edu/factsheets/115-94.htm Maybe you can search it on the net?? Man - it's times like this I realize how lucky we really…

Gotcha... sorry - I was writing my post and didn't see you had just posted!!! lol

Well... a couple cans might be helpful to you! You've probably already done this, but if you can fnd onions, leeks, peppers, stuff like that... you can add it to your beans and rice. Also like I mentioned before, if you can find any kind of root veggie or tubers (beets, carrots, yams, ?) they may last a little longer. Like…

Kind of the same thing I was thinking! I am curious where you are - as locally grown is often the answer. There are many veggies that keep for a long time, but I'm not sure where you are. My friend was born and raised in Africa - she lived on pumpkin and a variety of squash as her main veggie - as they grew well and kept…

Which country are you in... that probably impacts your choices. I have several friends who were in the Peace Corps or similar situations... a bit more info, if you don't mind! :o) And by the way - good for you! Very honorable!

@TheUnwritten - okay, so I'm a happily married old chick, lol. But honey, get your brother to help you with that self esteem! You're a great lookin' guy! Remind me of a young Christian Slater. But to all... yes - our minds are our biggest critics. It's like having that angel & devil on our shoulders - constantly trying to…

This is totally awesome..... I LOVE it! Good for you. I think it's ironic... I have the entire series (and a bunch of other stuff like that), much like your room mate - but I honestly watch the episodes to help me go to sleep! Haha! Great going!

I'm 5'4" and 122lbs. I find I'm between a 4 and a 6 pant size depending on the brand... most stuff I find that fits is a 4 though. It's all new to me, as I recently reached my GW (which was 125lbs.). I just started shopping for new clothes - as my old pants are all 8s and 10s - and fall right off! My top size also varies…

Emotional eating, portion control issues, job change (more sitting on my butt in front of a computer), too much World of Warcrack (even more sitting on my butt in front of the computer) and not enough outdoor activity. Soooo.... I changed my job path, quit Warcrack, and starting logging all my food - keeping me accountable…

I'm a NorCal Girl all the way. BUT the things that make NorCal so wonderful (in MY opinion) are being lost with the influx of transplants. Growing up here (4th generation, I might add), it was very laid back. The overall pace was slower, the natural beauty incredible, the people very friendly (in general) & down to earth.…

Bikram is a fine practice - done in a heated room (Bikram refers to them as Torture Chambers - lol). You loose a lot of water weight with all the sweating, but that's not the main goal of this practice. You gain balance, flexibility, strength, and general health. It's not for everyone, but many people love this practice.…

Yes! Yoga can contribute to weight loss - but not in and of itself (obviously). If you're looking for a higher paced class - that might get your heart up a bit - look for an Asthanga Class. Also Vinyasa Flow Classes might get your heart rate going - and be a little less intense. IF you are new to yoga, however - I…

Wow!! That's awesome... you honestly look great. 40 is still a kid (my brother is 40, my husband 44) - but you easily look 10 years younger! What's your secret? Good deal, Girl! :)

@reeniesing 30?

@Eabs... Of course I love your hat - it looks so warm and wonderful! But I also love that despite all that hat - your eyes just cut through! Very cool! :)

Probably nothing... a cup of tea at the most. If it's a sweet tooth night... I lke those Nature Valley Chocolate Squares. I think they're 80-90 calories each. Or if I can't sleep and I'm hungry - I might heat up a cup of milk. Helps ya sleep! :o)

Some of my "Gym" mix songs that kind of get me fired up are: Good Feeling: Flo Rida (my current FAVORITE for cardio) Butterfly: The Gift of Game Supergirl: Saving Jane Disturbia: Rihanna The Big Bang: Rock Mafia A lot of Lady Gaga's stuff... It's funny - I would never listen to these songs otherwise! But when I'm working…

Hmmm... I'm a little disappointed at some of these comments. I totallly hear what they're saying - but I don't think reaching out for suggestions to improve, only to get lectured and told they're just not trying hard enough is supportive. Anyway... it CAN be tough to fit in a workout - but there are ways you can do it. A…

I really get into my head when I'm doing any cardio workout - especially if I'm in the gym listening to my iPod. I focus mostly on my dreams - WHY I started this journey. I envision my goals and literally picture myself doing them. I see myself as a very strong and competetive rider (I'm a horse gal FYI), I see myself as a…

That is a total Victory! Congrats, Beautiful! You worked really hard to get where you are, and probably went through a lot. Celebrate your fit, healthy... and (why not embrace it) hot... new self! :o) Cheers, Girl!

I hear ya... and agree to a point. However: 1. My guess is you were on the "Eye Candy for Guys" forum (where your post originated and gave you this inspiration to "modify: it) because you wanted to look at some stereotypically "hot" women. All good - understandable! But, um, touche! 2. Second, if someone is against this…

Okay, Girls! Here's some eye candy that you may never have though of! These pics are from a 2012 Calendar Shot by Barbara Livingston. The Calendar is a Fundraiser for the "Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund" Here's a taste of her work (and some hot ripped brilliant riders). Garret Gomez Mike Smith Javier Castellano
