HI Im too in the middle east, andf to be honest its harder to lose in this heat. YOur body doesnt burn so much cos its warm already. In colder weather you your body burns more to keep warm. Mst ppl I know actually put ON weight when they 1st come out here. Most imprtant thing is to keep well hydrated.

They cant be worn in water but you can log your exercis onto MFP for the times you were swimming & the MFP calories will adjust onto Fitbit. When driving or travelling, you are at a standstill so will just be burning as if you are sedentary. You really shouldnt let these 2 things put you off. I find it helpful to analyse…

2000 Cals is quite a high daily intake to lose weight, however it would depend on your lifestyle, current weight, height etc, still If I were you I would check your stats again.

What exactly are you saying here? That ppl who have guys names tattooed onto them are silly? I think that's a very sweeping statement to make. Personally I think it depends upon the situation, after all every person, relationship & situation is different, and we all have our own reasons for getting inked, whatever it may…

Ive just finiswhed week 3 - starting wk 4 tomorro. This is my 2nd attempt! I gave up cos i freaked myself out looking forward last time (about 3 months ago). I am now another 20 lbs down from then & think I can crack it this time. I think you jsut have to go at your own pace, if u need to do weeks again, then so be it.…

The 1st time i tried it I bailed out at wk 4 - Why?? Cos I looked forward ALL the way & just freaked myself out, told myself i couldnt do it. I only heard about it yesterday. Think its a great cause & I for one agree with the concept. OP - you are sure to whip up a storm with this one, however, dont ever feel like you have to defend your beliefs afterall they belong to you & no-one else. Good on you for raising the topic :)

It doesnt double the calories burnt actually. Fitbit will re-adjust next time it syncs & communicates with MFP. Enter the exercise on either MFP or Fitbit, its up to you. Just dont enter them on both. I prefer to enter onto MFP like normal. MFP WILL make the adjustment, which is why when you enter exercise here you have to…
