I had a Fitbit one and it decided to quit on me, so in a pinch I purchased a LifeTrak C300, it calculates calories, tracks steps and does Heart Rate, I bought it at Amazon, also does running. You can look it up and see if that is something you are looking for.

I understand how you feel, I was on a plateau and then gave up and now gained about 3-4 lbs, I am back at it and starting slow. I am taking one day at a time and starting with remembering to log everything I eat, then I will go to exercise which I need because when I use to do it I felt very good afterwards. Hope…

I guess you can say I am addicted.....I weigh in the evening b/4 bed and the morning.....the evening gives me a look if in the morning the scale will be good to me....I have to put my scale away cause I know what I am doing is not HEALTHY! Of course it is not moving as fast as I would like it to.....

I have been stable for about 3 weeks now and I sat down to figure my BMR and TDEE..... figured it out both light activity and Sedetary and I decided to use a calorie number in between so this is where I set it and I am taking it from there.....set it where you think you should be and go from there.....good luck to you

well if you have lost 15 pounds already and your watching the amount of your food (measuring) it sounds like it is working for you and I wouldn't change it right now.....

Hi I want to start running and have done it a little but where can I find something to follow? Not sure how long I can run, but it is something I always wanted to do and I like what I am doing now.....can someone tell me where to get something to follow??? thanks

Mine is open to friends only......I like to see what others have eaten and share in some recipes if they are willing. I don't give negative comments, I know I eat some of the wrong foods, I don't need anyone to tell me that!

If I don't have breakfast and have Brunch instead then I log under Lunch.....figure as long as I log what I have eaten then that's all that matter.

yes it must likely is a "Ad", pay no attention to that......as for the stew you will have to estimate..... when I do things from scratch I use the recipe finder and add all my ingredients it is a great tool and love it....hope you figure out a basic calorie for your stew!

love her tapes, I do use a HRM with a chest strap, but if you don't have one then logging as 3.0 mph (walking) should be fine, you know how hard you are pushing yourself.

I have a Polar FT4 with a chest strap and I trust it completely. I know just how much I should burn when I do certain tapes and it is pretty accurate. Sorry don't know much about the Timex one....

I don't know what your days off are for, me I just call them my lazy days and then it shows either on the scale or in my food log.....try and eat your fruits and vegetables even if the veggies are raw like.....cucumbers, carrots maybe even stuffed celery, this are some of my good to foods and someone mentioned the protein…

I plan and count calories, when I don't then I go off wagon and feel sick to my stomach. If I crave something that day then I just adjust for that.....weighing is a big part for me as well....

maybe that was the problem (working out ever day??) you got bored with it, you need to change it up do different exercises......jog, roller skate, hula-hoop or jump rope. I don't know what you were doing but these might help you get back into it and they are fun. hope you get back..
