No you don't. It helps a lot of people but there are plenty out there that do not count calories and do just fine. Eat real food, mostly plants.

Different things work for different people. I am 4'11", I weigh just under 105lbs and 1000 - 1200 works just fine for me.

I am sedentary. I have days where I get less than 2,000 steps. I've had days under 1,000.

How about, try? I'm not saying starve yourself or push yourself beyond exhaustion. I'm saying, get out there and try to lose weight, maybe 100 is not reachable in 4 months but if you get out there and give it your all who knows how much you could lose. Great job! I also went from a 12 to a 0, I am only 4'11" I went from 153 down to 102, sadly, I've gained some back so I have get it back off! Ultimate goal is 100, although how I look is more important I suppose.

I only workout at home. I've done so many different things from Walk At Home DVD's, Wii games to Insanity and Brazil Butt Lift

When I eat the right foods and stay between 1100 and 1200 I do great. I feel better, my weight comes down or maintains (depending on where it is at the time). I honestly believe if I could just stay away from the junk and stick with it, I would actually be able to reach my goal.

I think WHAT you are eating is WAY more important than how much you are eating. I honestly function best on 1000-1200 calories of fresh, whole foods. I'm a small person, 4'11" and weigh just 104lbs.
