I try and treat riding my bike as extra, seeing as I only ride a cruiser anyways... High intensity cardio, for me, involves running in 7 minute intervals for 45mins-an hour (I alternate between an elliptical machine and treadmill) :)

Lactose intolerant here! Which means I've done a lot of research I still eat dairy, just dairy products that have had the lactose broken down into simpler forms of sugars. I tried making a vege-cupcake once It tasted putrid. Never again!

Just a tip for ditching soft drinks.... STICK WITH IT! At first you will feel so tired and crabby because of the lack of sugar... But after a week or so, your body will feel less bloated and AMAZING! Trust me, I would know Lost 10kg from going off soft drinks before joining MFP :)

I've recently cut out sweets and soft drink from my diet! Did well for a couple of weeks then relapsed and ate 3 subway cookies... But you know what? It was a blessing! My body wasn't used to the sugar and it made me feel physically ill. The sugar cravings are bad for about a week and then you feel on top of the world!…

I'm Jessica too! Comfort eating is the worst. It was what I did to survive an emotionally crippling relationship too, so (sorta) know where you're coming from. Good news though!
