  • My husband is into body building. So for him he says he has to eat as many protein in grams as his own weight in order to build muscle. For me he says I just have to eat about half my weights in grams of protein. Protein is one of the most important things we can eat. Protein helps build our cells in our bodies. So i'm…

  • Oh yea I also started seeing a massage therapist :) felt great and helped with a lot of my soreness that occurred from being on crutches and walking differently.
  • About 6 years back I tore my cartilage and my ACL( major stabilizing ligament in knee) in my right knee. I did this playing soccer and usually when I fell down I would get back up. This time I couldn't. I ended up being on crutches for about a month and then was walking with a cane because I was still having problems…
  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My best friend is like the girl on the left and I'm more like the girl on the right. Of course I love my best friend and think she is gorgeous but if I ever started playing for the other team ;) I would go more for the girl on the right.
  • Can you post about the different energy path ways and how to trigger them :)
  • Ever been in any car accidents? any whiplash? bad fall or injuries in the neck region? Stiff neck? Tense shoulder?
  • "Yesterday you said tomorrow" "the only place were 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary" "Tough times don't last. Tough people do."
  • On my husbands body building website they make motivational quotes a permanent forum that doesn't move down. So I would like to keep this going. "There is nothing I can't do. There are only things that I can't do yet." "the only place were 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary" "Try and fail is the manner of…
  • put roller on ground and put the side of your leg on it. Your going to have to do a side plank kinda of pose. Then basically pull and push your body back and forth so the roller glides up and down the leg. It is suppose to loosen up the IT band and release any trigger points or adhesions. Beware this can be sensitive and…
  • If you were a ballet dancer for a long time then your ligaments that support your joints are most likely stretched out. Which is what gives ballet dancers more flexibility. The problem with over stretching ligaments is that ligaments are what hold your bones together at joints. So when they are stretched out they don't…
  • The pride (remix) and under and over it are my favorite by them for pump up right now :)
  • Try adding it into oatmeal pancakes instead :) sooo good. I wouldn't bring down the flour amount and just make sure you mix in well and seeing how if your adding more dry ingredient to them, make sure you balance with a little bit more liquid. Start off with smaller amounts of protein powder first and increase. If your…
  • Grab fruit and go or those fruit to go bars Make smoothies (This is the best in my opinion. Can leave ingredient in blender over night in fridge, minus ice and liquids) Oatmeal with fruit or protein powder Make muffins when you can and grab in morning to go, banana bread, peanut butter and banana sandwich (make night…
  • Canada EH! :p
  • I'm constantly over my protein according to MFP but to me that's fine. Women under eat protein from my understanding most of the time. We need protein to build muscle and all sorts of cells in our body. Which is crucial when your working out. It is one of the most important things we could eat in my opinion. I tend to eat…
  • I also work late and want to eat pretty much when I come home. My husband is new to cooking so I've been trying to find slow cooker recipes I like. I made beef stew last week and pulled pork sandwiches the week before. Both yummy and can leave in slow cooker for a long time. Also look up chicken a la king. Easy and tasty.

  • I have a gazelle and for my weight I burn 313 calories for 30 mins of moderate gazelle work out. Which is good in my opinion. The gazelle will make you sweat, it is full body involvement with swinging arms and legs. Somewhat similar to a Elliptical except this machine will give you no momentum, your all on your own.…
  • Shin Splints is just a general term used pain in that area. If your young and go to the doctor about it they just say it is growing pain but that isn't really the case. When I was young I got them very bad after soccer games. Now since I've gone to school and learned a lot about muscles. I learned the pain is caused by the…
  • I know it is a frame a mind and like most women I have my good and bad days. Usually I think I'm sexy buy after looking at those... it just changed my frame of mind for a bit. Good suggestion to not look at them for awhile . Thanks! :)
  • SWEAT IS THE PERFUME OF ACCOMPLISHMENT...or the guy version SWEAT IS THE COLOGNE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT I Never said it was going to be easy... I said it was going to be worth it You may not be where you want to be, but at least your one step closer ( think that every time you workout)

  • HAHAHA my husband always says "This is a lifestyle!" whenever it comes to his working out and nutrition. LOVE your shirt by the way great message.
  • Toast with mozzarella cheese and raspberry jam (I don't think it is soo bad but I get weird looks) Cheerios and yogurt (let it sit for a bit and the Cheerios get all mushy, LOVE IT!) Carrots dipped in peanut butter (Yumm!)
  • Consume part of them back. You've earned them. If your goal is 1600 and if you actually reach that and then earn a extra 1000. That means your totally net is 600 for a day. Which is you do that constantly will put you into starvation mode. You want to make sure you are consuming your BMR calories. If you don't know your…
  • In my opinion you should make sure you consume your 1600. If your use to eating 1600 trying to eat 2600 will seem weird. I think you have definitely earned yourself a treat but don't over do it. It isn't only about watching your calories it should be about making better choices of what goes in your body. Chocolate milk or…
  • Whichever one you do second, your going to have less energy for. So if you do strength first you may not be able to last as long in cardio and vise versa. For me strength training is about being strong, so I would do it first and feel like I've had a good warm up for the cardio.
