I'm more of a cheat meal kind of person, usually sushi. But my cheat meal is not a reward for losing a few lbs or anything. It's just a small indulgence. Kind of like shopping. In MY opinion, if meals become rewards, it's as if we don't know moderation. You can have a cupcake, believe me, the world won't stop rotating...

When I use the Harris/Benedict formula, I end up with 2500 calories... Would you mind explaining TDEE to me. In the simplest terms possible. I'm in the learning process... I do resistance training and weights with the DVDs... if that counts.

thanks for the advice everyone.. this explains and helps a ton. last month while doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, I lost 7 lbs, 11 inches all around, lost 1.3% of body fat but only gained .5% of muscle mass.. but I got it. thanks again everyone!

I did all 30 days, CONSECUTIVELY. I dropped 7 lbs and 11 inches all around. I also lost 1.3% of body fat and gained .5% of muscle mass. :) Yesterday I started her Extreme Shed & Shred.. let's see how that goes :)
