I've been fascinated by Tai Chi for some time and I'm pretty sure I have a beginner DVD somewhere. I'll dig it out and give it a try. :)

Went thrift store shopping with my daughter. Found some good stuff and got in a lot of steps!

My one thing is to walk 10,000 steps each day. I've been pretty sick and have had a difficult time with this so far. Yesterday, I did 7,500. Hoping for more today.

My goal is to rack up at least 10,000 steps on a daily basis. The only way I can accomplish that is to get up from my desk and walk every hour while at work. I get ice, which is at the other end of the building. I use any bathroom other than the one across the hall. I walk to talk to co-workers instead of calling or…

I've been pretty sick, so haven't been moving much. Today, I feel almost human again. I'll catch up on the challenge and will definitely be able to move more than the last two weeks. Looking forward to moving through October with all of you!

This weekend I tried something new! I blended water with cucumber, pineapple, kale and lime juice. It was delicious!

This is definitely a stretch that I need to do multiple times daily. Felt good!

I starting using a memory foam pillow for my head and a regular pillow between my knees several months ago. It has made a HUGE improvement in my neck and low back pain.

My water is usually sparkling with a splash of pure cranberry juice, a teaspoon(ish) of apple cider vinegar and one drop each of lime, lemon and ginger essential oil. It's my favorite summer beverage.

I just got home from an 8-day camping trip. We walked a TON and swam in the lake. On the flip side, we ate like Hobbits. (You know, breakfast, second breakfast, luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, s'mores). I'll get back on the challenges tomorrow. :smiley:

In addition to my regular gym workouts, I've been working on doing 10,000 steps a day. Yesterday I did over 12,000! I'm wearing my gym shoes to work today and will try for a new record! :smiley:

My parents are coming over for dinner and the Hubster is going out to dinner with our oldest daughter. My parents and I get to babysit my 6-week old grandbaby. Can't wait!

Easy peasy! I brought spinach salad for lunch today and I've been working on getting to 10,000 steps a day. I'll do at least 5 loops around the building at work today.

This afternoon I was cooking some meals for a family with a new baby. While doing that, I decided to clean out the spice cabinet. Got rid of a bunch of old stuff and some empty containers. It looks great now!

The change I would like to see in food labels is the percentages. Why can't they be actual percentages of the food being labeled rather than "based on" the mythical 2,000 calorie diet? It's misleading and completely worthless information.

Today I am photographing the wedding of a dear friend. I already know the basics. :wink: I will without a doubt learn something, though. I always learn from photo projects.

How funny that you should have this challenge today! Done! I had a smoothie for breakfast with an apple, half a banana, blackberries from my sister, and fresh-made almond milk. It was yummy!!

I have a 3-hour online training to do today. I'm planning to stand up and do squats at least every hour. I like the idea of getting outside to play after work. Let's do it!
