No, when you enter exercise into MFP, it'll tell you how much extra calories you "earned" from exercising. You always want to eat your exercise calories or you can drop yourself back down to under 1200 calories and send your body into starvation mode. Yeah, I am way too full to try to eat more. I still have 133 left after my shake, so not going to happen. I do feel guilty because I did go way way way over on my sodium, today was junk food all day, but at least I stayed under my calories. I do feel kind of gross though, so tomorrow I'm not eating so much junk.

I guess it depends on your preference. :wink: I don't think they taste like cardboard at all, especially the hostess cakes, if anything they taste MORE chocolaty than the regular cakes to me! lol.

Thanks, you all are great. This is exactly what I needed. I think I might look on demand and see if there are any cal burning exercises I can do today. We have a big snow storm going on right now, which will turn to an ice storm later, so I doubt I'll be making my spin class.

I've been cal counting for almost 2 weeks now, and so far I've done ok with motivation. I just DO it, no second guessing, no thinking and dwelling. I just get out my measuring cups and do it. I love them! I used to think it was so lame to buy them, I had NO clue how many calories were in what at that point, lol. The Hostess chocolate cakes ones are SO good and they really satisfy my chocolate craving with the 3 little cakes. I also have the keebler cookies ones, yum!

Thanks everyone! Ya know, even before counting calories, I usually only get one plate of dinner, maybe two but I never finish both. I'm not worrying about eating 5 plates of food really, I'm more worried about just how much calories are in Chinese food, period. :smile:

I really think I'm going to try and get to the gym at 4 on the dot. I'll do 30/45 or so minutes of cardio and then be able to shower and get ready in the locker room while my kids are still in the daycare room.
