I thought I was the only one who dislikes this time of year. There's too much food around for me and it doesn't even feel like Christmas. I used to enjoy this part of the season but now, I don't. Plus all the religion that gets shoved down my throat during this time really pisses me off.

I've lived in New Jersey my entire life. On my Mom's side, I'm almost entirely Russian with a bit of German. On my Dad's, it's a combination between Russian, English, and Irish. My Mom's side came to America in 1921 and I'm not sure when my Dad's side immigrated.

There's so many ways to cook vegetables, you just need to learn some new and creative ways. I like making a stir-fry with chicken with lots of spices and edamame, carrots, and red bell peppers. Lots of people struggle with body image. Just because you find someone thin, doesn't mean they find themselves to be skinny. Most of the people who say this AREN'T fishing for compliments, just saying.

You can't really spot reduce in a certain spot; if you lose weight and fat it's going to come off everywhere- your thighs, stomach, etc. You can really get rid of cellulite with creams or anything. It seems like it's one of those things that just says there.

My weight usually varies about 5 pounds if I weigh myself in the day and then at the night. The most I've ever "gained" was 9 pounds, but I drank 8 bottles of water that day.

Mmm, I love hummus. I usually put it on thin Triscuits or dip it into veggies. You could also use it in a sandwich instead of another kind of dressing.

I'd chose money over happiness. If you're having trouble paying for things and are in poverty range, you should definitely get a better-paying job. Happiness is important, but money is more.

I have Wii Fit, which is fun but isn't really a workout to me. I lovelovelove Just Dance though; it's really fun to play and burns a pretty good amount of calories. :)

I agree with you. It's hard for a lot of people to accept the fact that they're unhealthy, overweight, and are actually going to have to work hard to lose weight. I don't think that the weight-loss surgeries are really the easy way out; the people who get them still have to work to lose weight too. But who wouldn't want…

My advice is just don't have the stuff around. If my Mom bakes anything, I make her hide it. If the stuff is around and you're bored, you're more likely to get up and start snacking. Surround yourself with healthy things. If you feel you need help with your eating, it might be in your best interest to see a nutritionist.

I've had a runner's high before, but that's about the only time exercise has lifted my mood. In general, I feel the same way after finishing as I do starting.

When I was said about making up for being healthy, I was assuming you were saying you made healthy choices and that I personally think that it is just best to be consistently healthy. I never said it was going to "kill you."

Guilt's normal. Don't eat the popcorn. Sonic isn't the healthiest choice and continuing to eat unhealthy afterwards is just bad. You shouldn't have days to "make up" for eating right.

More yoga pants to work out in. This hour-long yoga DVD and a similar ballet one. Protein powder. A new scale, hopefully. :)

You can gain fat, or you could of gained water. Personally, the most I gained in one week was 6 pounds, so to me it seems possible.
