Great photos! I'd love to climb that mountain! That is ridiculously steep!

One of my big hobbies is finding and identifying wildflowers throughout Colorado. Today, I finally found one I've been searching for for awhile. It's hard to find, but so beautiful. It's called the calypso orchid or a fairy slipper.

Wow, that looks like some intense terrain. Kudos to you and your daughter.

Definitely can see the progress. Way to go! Now, time to figure out how to make this progress made during the 24 day cleanse sustainable long-term? If you figure out the secret, let me know.

You have come so far, and you look absolutely fabulous! You are well on your way to fit. I'm willing to bet you are already more fit than most people in this country. I'm so thrilled to have you as a friend and supporter!! You are an amazing lady!

Training for my first half marathon, and I'm netting at around 1850 cal per day. That is a cut for me. I'm 5'6" about 153lb. I'm amazed how anyone can do long runs on any less calories than that. You need to fuel your workouts! Eat more. You will still lose weight and have much more energy.

Me!!! To read about it check out my MFP blog: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/JoniBologna/view/one-year-50lbs-lost-pics-240358 Almost two years later, and I'm about to run my first half marathon and am in better shape than ever!

My sister had this problem. Honestly, what she did was keep all junk out of the house. She found she was prone to sleep eating certain foods. So, she stopped buying those foods. I do believe, she was indeed on some sort of sleep aid like Xanax or Ambien. Definitely smart to talk to a doc about it.

Chocolate! Still is, in fact. Honestly, I think it's foolish to totally give up any food, especially if you really love it. Learning moderation is key. I have never stopped eating chocolate, cheese, meat, carbs, or drinking beer, and I've lost 50+lbs.

My family has been extremely supportive. However, they certainly do not keep junk food away from me. It is up to me to be strong and smart about situations with junk food. Honestly though, the hardest is the relationship with your significant other. My last boyfriend was not on board with getting healthy. When I finally…

Don't be afraid to lift HEAVY!!! Light dumbbells are for sissies. You definitely won't get bulky unless you start taking steroids or something of that nature.
-
Yep. No doubt about it. However, if you are eating only 1200 calories of junk food all day, there is also no doubt that you are very malnourished.

It turned out great. I decided to go to the liquor store to get us some red wine, and I ended up buying a single Stone Smoked Porter w/ Chipotle Peppers. Thought it sounded perfect. I'd never had carne guisada before but my boyfriend says it turned out perfect!!

My initial reaction was the 1554. I could see using a cheap Mexican beer if it was chili, but this is stew. I feel like it's different. Oh, and Option 1 definitely seems like a logical way of making a decision. Option 2 seems more fun, but probably not very nice considering this is a birthday dinner. Thanks for the…

Too true. Every single person who is getting defensive about this is A) Probably eating too few calories and/or B) A newbie.

You will definitely lose muscle mass if you eat less. Eat at maintenance. Take care of yourself.

I don't like Subway because I think it tastes gross. Personally, I like my lunch meat sliced very thin. Also, I try to avoid heavily process foods, which their meats definitely are. Likewise, their food has an incredible amount of sodium. Furthermore, I try to support local, small businesses whenever possible. You wanna…

What an inspiration! Congrats on your success.

Great suggestions. Bump.

Nicely done. You look fantastic. Keep up the hard work!

Simple answer...no. You're fine. You'll find over time the more protein the better. It satisfies hunger better and keeps you full longer. Of course, it's great for muscle building and repair. Unless you have a special or unique health condition, you should definitely eat a lot of protein.

Bump!

I used to be an every day weigher. Now, I've gotten to the point where I barely even think about it. I will weigh in once every couple of weeks maybe.
-
I'm 5'6" and 150lbs. I eat 1650 on rest days. My BMR is approx 1500 cal. Some days I eat upwards of 3000+ calories. Eat up, ladies.

This is terrible terrible advice. You, clearly, need to do a bit more research about how this site works and how healthy weight loss. Yikes.

Save yourself the money and eat real food! That's all I've ever done, and I have seen fantastic results.

Lots of people gave you great suggestions. At 6'2" 1600 cal a day is reasonable for you to lose weight. In fact, it may be too little still. Anyway, snacks are key. Add olive oil to whatever you can, nuts and nut butter, avocado, yogurt, cheese, have a little chocolate...these are all things I do to boost that number. It…

You should have a conversation with your doctor about exercise. If he recommends 1400 cal does he want you burning 400 cal off? You're net calories are very low everyday. I'm not sure what your situation is, but in my experience eating those exercise calories back is important.
