@NutritionHealth4Life My week is going well! It sounds like you're doing great. My biggest challenge is balancing my work schedule with the gym, meal prep, and socializing, but I'm making it work! Rest day today but hitting the gym tomorrow for weights and maybe a run or yoga!

Mine is going well too! Did weights and bikram yesterday and am planning on more hot yoga and a quick run today. Went grocery shopping and bought a ton of produce - feeling pretty good!

My goals are similar to many of yours: 1. Log daily 2. Stick to 1500-1600 calories/day 3. Eliminate eating after dinner and emotional eating 4. Continue exercise routine and a (mostly) paleo diet

Feel free to add me!

I'm graduating from grad school this summer, but I would still love to join for some motivation and accountability!
-
I'll add you! I love finding new friends for support :)

I resisted an urge to emotionally eat after a stressful day at work. I relaxed instead and feel soooo much better!

It took me YEARS to finally recover from Binge Eating Disorder, which included a lot of trial and error. For me, logging my food and meal planning/meal prep helps take the stress and guess work out of food. Regular exercise helps too. Counseling and reading about BED have both been invaluable, as I have been able to get to…

Feel free to add me as well. I am in recovery from binge eating disorder and have been for about a year, but still struggle with emotional eating.
-
Welcome back! You can do this and I am happy to support you :)
-
Also seeking new friends. Currently strength training 3x/week and eating mostly paleo.

Feel free to add me too! I could use some new MFP friends :)

Great link! Thank you for posting :)

It sounds like you exercise a lot and are eating at a pretty big deficit. I do my TDEE minus 15-20%, which puts you around 1600 cals a day if your TDEE is 2100. I have actually lost more weight when I increased my calories by 100-200, as my body tends to hold onto weight if I exercise too much and don't eat enough. Also,…

You look awesome. Very healthy and happy. Great job!

That is awesome!

First of all, welcome to the group! I have been working on figuring out the difference between physical and emotional hunger for myself lately. It was helpful to research the difference between the two, as there are some physiological differences (for example, emotional hunger begins seemingly out of nowhere and develops…

I use exercise as a study break during midterms and finals. It's good for my body and my sanity :) That being said, I know it can be hard to find the motivation to hit the gym when you are stressed. For me, building in a reward would help. For example, I would buy myself a magazine I really like but tell myself I had to…

I am planning on making basil pesto, zucchini noodles, and homemade mayo for tuna salad :)

i have 4 months left until our wedding, and it definitely feels like crunch time! in terms of weight loss and toning up, i feel like i'm doing well. i just weighed in at 133 and would like to be a toned 125 or 120 by may 31st, which i think is doable. in terms of planning, we are working on the ceremony, the floral…

I didn't lose last week, so I'm hoping for a loss when I weigh myself on Saturday. So far, this week has gone well. Looking forward to fitting in more workouts and sticking to healthy eats!

Are you doing the Cross Fit classes on top of weight training 3x/week, plus the cardio? If so, that seems like a LOT of exercise to me! My body clung to weight when I was exercising a lot, 6-7 days a week. When I backed off a little, I lost 3 to 5 pounds. Other than that, I would recommend cycling your calories (higher…

I aim for 1600 cals/day, so feel free to add me :)
