Here's a fast crockpot meal: a few chicken breasts (boneless) a can of black beans a can of corn salsa when finished, shred, add more salsa if desired, and put on tortillas, brown rice, or eat plain. Of course, my kids like it with avocado and cheese! It's our standby, need-something-quick meal.

I did the calculations and they are right on with my heart monitor.In other words, the total calorie burn is almost identical to my hrm. I love the calculation for the net calorie burn. Thanks for this!

Me! 5'6" at 131, wanting to be in the 120's. Goal is 125-128 so not much to lose, but can't seem to lose any! Well, I do fluctuate 2 pounds regularly. ;)

Disclaimer: I am not an expert. But I wonder if you are retaining water as your muscles are recovering. I often fluctuate 2 pounds a week simply in water, and I always weigh more after working out more. Just a thought.

I've been spinning for two years - I spin anywhere from 3-6 times a week. I love it. The music and instructor make all the difference in the world! Keep at it. You can do it!

A quick breakfast I like (as does my 17 year old son) is breakfast cookies. They are made with almond butter, oats, wheat germ, very little sugar, very little oil, whole wheat flour, walnuts, maybe an egg - can't remember. Roasted with a little olive oil and some sea salt. 400 degrees for 10 minutes or so - until it is as done as you like. Same preparation and then grilled. Delicious! I just bought some yesterday. Can't wait to have it.

Good for you for starting to exercise! 5 km is a fabulous start. You'll feel so much better with exercise. And walking is so good for you. Way to go!
