Low carb high fat is great because it stops the hunger, I set Mfp to 10% carbs, 60% fat and 30% protein. Knowing it's fine to put double cream in your coffee and have butter on veg is so different from high carb low fat where you can't wait for next meal and think about food all day long. I'm in! Had full fat Greek yogurt with a measure of whey protein powder (banoffee flavour) for breakfast, mid afternoon had 3 eggs scrambled with butter and cheese and 2 burgers. Can't eat any more but calories are too low. How do you ladies get the numbers up? Iris

I'm doing this too, but doing 2 normal days then a fast day. Started about 6 weeks ago and have lost a pound a week, have to admit I find the fast days easier than the other days because I can eat for 'England' those days. it's not written in stone that calorie counting begins the minute you get out of bed, and ends when you get back in. Have you tried starting your count at 18.00 - that way you can eat well in the evening and have less during the following morning/afternoon.

yes, get one it's fun to get those numbers up. Get money for your birthday and treat yourself. Worn mine every day since 5 Jan, only forgot to put it on once and then remembered after an hour. Consider it on a level with my mobile phone - luxury but necessary!

Has anyone else heard of Zoe Harcombe and her diet, she says much the same thing as Gary, it's all to do with insulin being released when you consume carbs, and that causes fat when eaten with carbs to be stored, check out The Harcombe Diet.
