@TeresaW2024 - up next is probably 21 Day Fix extreme. Do you do structured workout programs? My bingo goals for 2025 include completing 2 structured programs and I figure two 3-week ones are better than nothing LOL. I’ll see what happens after those. I want to be consistent with strength training. @trooworld - I hope the…

@TeresaW2024 I’ve set a goal to just not have cookies at all for now. At least until I have been at goal/maintenance for a while and can try them again as a treat every once in a while only. Being at home with no kids makes it easy enough as they are not my husband’s go-to. When he does get them, he will get some with…

@Katmary71 – peanut butter cookies are my favorite (because peanut butter is my favorite). There is an Olde English style bakery about a 20 minute drive away from me that sells fantastic ones. But I will order two and only get two. Then the next day I will fixate and want more and try to hold out until getting them from…

@Cornanda – Wow I never thought to check to see if a pistachio was truly a nut. That was some really helpful information - Thank you. @micaroo4 - At least I know I am not alone. I just hope it similar to your experience in that I won’t have to give up certain stuff forever. Oh my! That is so cold! How often do you see…

Way to go team! Those weight loss numbers look great! I have less than 2 weeks left for the Whole30 elimination phase. I had a pretty strong reaction to pistachios last night and I was pretty bummed about it. Some of the foods I have loved for so long have begun to cause gastric/allergy problems and I feel like my little…

@trooworld the date creamer was actually pretty good. Just wasn’t what I wanted. I think I am beginning to prefer the unsweetened coffee. Congratulations on the loss! @TeresaW2024 So sorry to hear about your dog and your niece. I will say a prayer for both, I really hope it works out. @morenin Shoveling is definitely a…

@AnAbsoluteDiva functional/practical movement in lieu of or addition to exercise is so smart. I like the idea of intentionally moving more doing everyday things. I am starting to desire sweetener less and less these days. Copying an idea I saw on a Reddit post, I made a coffee creamer with dates and almond milk in the…

@Katmary71 I did yellow split peas with onion, carrots, and then kale mixed in at the end. I eat them with sliced tomato and sliced radishes on the side. I don’t know why I favor this combo so much but its one of my happy healthy meals. I do use cinnamon in my coffee as well as nut pods creamer. Those have made a big…

@trooworld OMGee. I love birds – they are my favorite animals. Thanks for sharing the pics, sounds like a great time. @TeresaW2024 Are you doing no sugar including naturally sweet foods/fruit? Or just added sugars? You may have said somewhere and I missed it. It has been the toughest not to add any kind of sweetener to my…

Happy Sunday! Its been a super busy day today. I did a 2-hour workout at home because I was practicing some advanced step aerobics moves with my husband and then did the 21 Day Fix upper body workout. Forgetting that I was meeting the kids to go to an interactive game room with lots of jumping, running and moving. I ended…

Hey everybody! It's cold and snowy where I am in Alabama today and the weather has me sleepy and wanting to bury myself under the covers. I finished 1 week of Whole30-ish as of yesterday and feeling pretty good. It's not been as bad as I thought it would be and I don't miss certain foods as much as I thought I would. Does…

I am hoping to join in to more conversation. It's been a long time since I have used this type format and it was so weird and confusing on my phone. I broke out the laptop and I think it's a bit more user friendly. :)

@vegan4lyfe2012 The bingo card is pretty primitive LOL.

Do you set goals for the year? If so, how do you keep track of them? This year I am doing a Bingo Goals card for January and then another for the 2025 year as a whole. I have a list of non-food related rewards (like a pair of my favorite socks, sports massage, new leggings, etc) for when I make Bingo. I'm actually excited…

Long Term Goals 1. Figure out if/what foods are causing my auto immune issues. 2. Lose 20 lbs or enough inches to get back into my size 6/8s and then actually work on maintenance. 3. Develop a better sleep routine. Short Term Goals: 1. Complete a modified version of Whole30 2. Complete a circuit training program like ones…

Hi everyone! I am a 45 year old empty nester 🥳 in Alabama. I work a full time desk job, teach step aerobics twice a week, and help my chef husband on occasion with large catering jobs. I am always on the move so I know all to well that I cannot out-train a bad diet. Holidays and a trip to Nashville (just got back today)…

I lost a total of 4 lbs when I did 30 day shred. (Scale went up and down the whole time) But I also dropped like 2 clothing sizes. When people ask, I ALWAYS recommend it since that is the workout that did the most in terms of body change for me in a short amount of time. Day 6 of T25 right now so maybe that will change..

I'm also from Alabama. :-)

Wow, while not exact this is VERY similar to my story (I lost the weight after I got married)...I actually lost 68 and feel bad that I have gained back almost 40. My kids started getting involved in sports and it took all of my time. As I started gaining back I kept telling myself I would start again "Monday" but would…
