  • Yes I do wash the strap, after every second exercise session. Since wearing the watch on bra strap. I haven't had a problem. :)
  • I have one and wear it everything I exercise. I love it.... It is much more accurate than the machines. It does make you work harder especially when you have used it for a while and get an idea of how much you burn each exercise. Half way through your workout if you aren't burning as much as before you push yourself more.…
  • I have been on this diet wagon for 2 years now. One very important thing I learnt was don't weigh everyday... I was doing this and it drove me nuts.. always weigh once a week in the morning after getting out of bed and going to the toilet.once a month is better bit I can't wait that long...lol I also found for the past…
  • Thank you. I did 1200 calories for the first 7 months. I have gone up and down between 1300 and 1600 for the rest, except for the past month I have been eating between 1800-1950. I will try to keep going and not think about the scale but it is really hard to do that..lol Thanks for the support It's a mind battle. My mind…

  • Hi, if your not hungry after your dinner and you are someone who wants to eat back exercise, then you can save them for tomorrow. Eat a couple of hundred more tomorrow. Personally I wouldn't eat them all back as the calorie estimates for exercise on MFP are just estimates. It is impossible for.them to be accurate for…
  • wow that is a great effort. Well done!. it makes us feel so good when we do more than we thought we could. Keep up the great work, maybe work up to pushing those kids up the hills in the pram.. would be another great milestone for you. I have only achieved 7kms in 1 hour 10mins. you must have had a really good pace going.…
  • I allow myself dark chocolate every day. It is my treat and I count it. So be it. I have lost 53lbs. I think we have to try and keep our dieting in perspective, we are making life changes not really a diet. So, if Ice Tea makes you feel good on a hot day I say GO FOR IT. :) cheers.
  • I worked out on friday for 60 mins burned 438 calories. I have stopped using the curves smart card for now and go by my heart rate monitor. Then I walked home 30mins. KEEP ON CURVING...lol. cheers Pauline.
  • Thank you... and thank you for the welcome. I see how much weight you have lost. Thats is a fantastic effect. CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!! I bet you feel great.. cheers Pauline
  • Hi I joined curves at the end of 2010. I love it!! I had not exercised before, I didn't like to go to the gym...weird to say I know, but I was fat and didn't feel comfortable in a 'normal' gym...lol. But, I walked into curves one day and that was it. between 2010 and 2011 I lost 34kgs. I gave up curves in July 2011 and…
  • I have been thinking this for a long while. I never eat back my exercise calories. But I do eat at my BMR.. Thanks
  • Sliced Apple on buttered bread as a sandwich. Beetroot and mayonaise sandwiches. Sugar and Tomato Sauce sandwiches ( we used to have these as kids after school )
  • this is the best... :) I LOVE IT!
  • HI, I don't think it is 'cheating', I like most others don't log light weight house cleaning but I do log heavy cleaning. I can clean two bathrooms, in 60 mins and burn 280 calories. (according to my HRM), If I minus my BMR hourly rate I am still burning 220 calories more than I would if I was sitting down watching a movie…
  • I have been going to curves for almost 2 years now. I have use a heart rate monitor for the last 12 months to measure my calories burned from their circuit. They do have a curves smart card which will tell you how many calories you have burned, but I have found the HR monitor alot more accurate than the curves smart card (…
  • Not sure why it is a swear word on here. I hate to state the obvious but......Without your heart you will not survive, without cardio exercise your heart gets large, sloppy and lazy and doesn't pump right. So, why on earth would "cardio" not be good? A combination of both is what we need. Because of cardio my resting pulse…
