My boobs are gone too! And since everything I try on fits me now and looks good, I'm spending a fortune on new clothes, so I'm broke all the time! Sooo sad!! :blushing:

Love the perspective! In three years I've lost a small bale of hay! (My ticker is just from my MFP time).

Bump!

I'd like to see some educated answers to that too! As a woman the information out there is pretty minimal. Since we aren't building muscle the same as men I'm sure we wouldn't need to eat as much more (respectively). But at the same time, since dieting will destroy muscle, and we don't want that, we have to eat enough. But…

You don't have to be going fast to get into a situation where you fall off your bike. We weren't going fast whenI had another cyclist lose control beside me and hit my handlebars. My front wheel went sideways and the bike stopped dead. As I pitched forward onto my face all I was thinking was "thank God I'm wearing a…

The website says it makes 30 cookies. It sounds good. I've got some overripe bananas too. But they'll have to go into the freezer, because I've had enough treats for a while!

Bump! I want to check out these links. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Thank you. I never thought of that! I will give it a try. It certainly is possible.

I've tried substituting 0% fat Greek yogurt for sour cream in my cooking and it curdles as soon as it gets hot. Some of you have mentioned that you cook with it. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, this is what I think too. She may be going through a growth spurt, in which case she'll eat whatever you offer. But if she's just using the word "hungry" to join in or control you or be like you, she'll turn down the healthier snacks, and you'll know that's what it is. It will also reinforce the attitude of eating…

Does it feel like bruising? And did you get a bruise after on your toenail? That could be what they call runners toe, and would be the fit of the shoes. Seems to be very common. I get pain in the joint where it joins my foot. That's my arthritis. It doesn't go numb though.

Not my gift, but my son's. My ex mother in law bought him a well used Garfield angel stuffie at the 2nd hand store. (She did most of her grandchild gift buying there, her husband was a doctor.) I gave it back to the goodwill at some point during the year, and the next Christmas he got it AGAIN!! I almost had to forgive her…

I, too, still think about food most of the time. But it is getting better. I can resist the really bad stuff easily now. And I always log my food ahead of time. This helps with resistant. And because I'm always thinking about it, I also think about fitness and exercise, so that's a good thing.

I would like to do 200 kilometers, but I think that's unrealistic with my schedule this month. So, I'm gonna go with 150, and do the 200 if at all possible. :drinker:

I'm in too! My booty needs some work. I usually try to remember to do about 10 every time I have to go pee. Of course, I forget half the time, so this will be helpful to remind me. (Not WHILE I'm peeing!! After, before I leave the room. It's how I sneak in exercise at work.)

Early one morning on my walk I saw a woodpecker doing a mating dance for his female. That was really neat, he was all fluffed up, and hopping up and down and back and forth trying to impress her.

Sigh! Okay, so I'm a rule-breaker. See also rules #29 & 90. In my defense, I ride a lot in the rain, and cold hasn't really been my enemy, it's the drivers in the dark who are my real nemesis! (Okay, yes, waaahhh) And regarding rule 90, I may not be in my big ring, but I'm ALWAYS going up hills as fast as I can. I love…

@DebbieLyn No, I live on Vancouver Island in Canada. My friend and I had recently finished my 3rd 240k charity ride that I've been doing, (It's over 2 days so 120k each day), and were looking for another excuse to get on our bikes all day. This seemed like a good challenge, it is about 160k. And it was fun! I still can't…

-Definitely noticed more energy. I stepped out of the vicious circle of being too lazy to get off my butt and walk across the room to get something. Now I bounce up to do dozens of things anytime. -I also have more confidence in myself and my abilities. (Still working on that, though, but it's coming.) I rode 100 miles on…

I only just stumbled across this thread! LOVE the idea of an off season challenge for my cycling. I ride from March to Sept., but then it gets too cold, wet and dark for me, so I quit. This year I have been planning to set up the thingy inside for my bike, (thingy is the technical term, dontcha know?) but I haven't had…

She wondered if he didn't like her because of her size. She had become very thin since he had eaten most of the other zombies. So she, too, joined MZFP.

But he had his eye on a handsome zombie named George who lived nearby.

And we all know that brains are high in calories and fat!

It's not the one day of Thanksgiving that is going to be my problem, it's the yummies for Christmas. (Besides, I'm Canadian and I already had my delicious turkey day). My concern is how to ration the boxes of chocolates I better get as gifts (and no, I am NEVER going to give away my chocolate Hedgehogs to anyone else!) And…

Great idea! I should consider it for kilometers cycled next year!

Hello to everyone from beautiful Vancouver Island. And just so you know, it doesn't actually rain here EVERY day in the winter. I'm looking out the window at blue sky right now!! Yay Canada!!!
-
Don't knock yourself about 2 or 3 pounds! If it wasn't for the Thanksgiving meals I bet you would be back at your goal before the end of next week! I'm almost at my goal, and noticed that it's harder to stay on the dietary track when you're this close. My main nemesis is chocolate, but any snack food will do. I cannot…

I hate you! I can only eat 1/2 a pint if I have to share it with my sweetheart.

This is my concern too this year especially. I just discovered that after losing about 25 pounds this year I am actually 4 pounds heavier than I was the end of last November!! At Christmas I gained 8 pounds, lost most of it, gained about 8 in February on vacation, lost most of it, gained another 8 in the summer when we had…

Bump! This all sounds so yummy, and EASY! Thanks everyone, keep posting.
