Bananas are wonderful. My oatmeal would not be complete without one.
-
I'd like to change my goal from 130 to 100 please. Life will require some additional attention in March which will cut into my running time a bit.

Total miles for the week ended 2/26 = 35.0

I'm in for 130.

We've grown herbs, tomatoes and peppers in containers on our patio in the past. They always did fine. We live in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Last summer we had roses in the containers. They do well as long as we move them around to maximize the sun exposure. Our yard is kind of small, so we rent space at our…

A little jealous of those of you that can plant already... We grow several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, spinach, peas, green beans, potatoes, onions, carrots, and broccoli. There's nothing like a salad of veggies still warm from the sun.

7 miles last night under a big, bright full moon.

What are your favorite tasty, carbonated beverages? Beer Do you call it soda, pop or something else? Soda is for baking, pop is for drinking.

2/1 - 8 miles 2/2 - 6.4 miles 14.4 miles so far for February. The weather has been oddly springlike when we should be in the deepest depths of winter right now. Not complaining. It makes running outside a lot more comfortable when it's 35*F rather than -10*F.

7.1 miles today, 168.8 for the month of January.

Ended up with 40.8 miles for the week and 161.7 miles for January through 1/29/12.

This is what we do. Easy peasy. Get up and the oats are ready. Makes enough for 2-3 days.

Steel cut oats are the way to go. The night before I boil 6 cups of water, then add 1.5 cups of dry steel cut oats. Let it return to a boil and then cook for a minute or two. Remove from heat and slap a lid on the pan. Then I let it sit on the back of the stove until the next morning. When I get up, they are perfect.…

I like them baked topped with salsa and small dollop of plain yogurt. Usually when I have a baked potato it's the main course. Sometimes I'll have a salad on the side. With the skin they are a great source of many vitamins and minerals. Skip the salt and they are naturally low in sodium. Don't be a tater hater.

Currently in Northern Michigan it is 7*F with a windchill of -3*F. Thankfully the wind is laying down and my run should be fairly pleasant tonight.

41 miles for week 2. 91.9 miles logged month to date.

Love it. It's one of my favorite shows on TV. I really like the new MvF Nation format. I'm sure it's much healthier for Adam as well.
-
Sounds like fun. I'll play along.
