I am soda free as of 6 months ago. I used to be able to consume 12 to 24 soda's a day. ONLY Water and coffee now :bigsmile:

If you aren't seeing results at 1400 switch to TDEE but work your way to up to 1800 slowly by adding 100 calories a week till you get to 1800 and eat there for couple weeks to a month and see how it work for you.

You can eat up to 1828 calories which is 20% less than your TDEE. The great thing about TDEE deficient is you can eat a good amount of food while you are losing weight and you don't need to worry about eating back calories.

Basal Metabolic Rate = number of calories you burn just by living. If you were in a coma the doctors would feed you the amount of your BMR through a tube. Your body needs that much just to keep your organs functioning properly. I have read that people should eat at least 200 calories above their BMR.

TDEE TOTAL DAILY ENERGY EXPENDITURE with that it is supposed to be an easier way of doing things because you don't eat back your exercise calories but if you have it set on sedentary you will most likely need to eat 1/2 or so of the exercise calories back. Thanks for all your input. I def need to change my socks. They are cotton. I didn't know that they would be a problem while running. Ordered some "running socks" from Amazon will see how they work while I am trying to decide what type of shoes to buy.
