  • That's beautiful. Thanks for making my day! =)
  • I haven't tried bikram, but from what I understand it's a cardio paced yoga/ work out, done in a really really hot room. So I imagine anything you can stomach before a long run on a hot summer's day would be fine, they just want to make sure nobody eats anything that will make them sick, I wish my dance studio advised…
  • Did they give you a macronutrient ration to follow? the first phase of the p90x eating plan is fairly low carb/ low fat. It's 50% protein, 30% carb, and 20% fat. I found it difficult to follow in that it takes a lot of planning to get your meals to work out that way, and I wound up having to drink 3-4 protein shakes a day…
  • bubble tea.. usually around 500 for a 12oz serving, and usually servings are WAY bigger than that. I freaking love the stuff though, so I splurge once in awhile =)
  • @ annigrisani, that sounds awesome, I can't wait to try that!
  • Hmm, bulk nuts are a good alternative, but can also be pricey and some people struggle with the calories. One of my favourites though: sliced apple, with a little container (about 1-2 tbsp, just make sure you measure) of peanut butter, with some cinnamon and sweetener mixed in. It is sooo yummy, and no refrigerator…
  • Yeah I'd definitely have to agree, not anal at all! I actually think a lot of people would be naturally at their goal weight if they didn't consume so many empty calories through their beverage choices. But if you can fit it in, and it's something you really enjoy, go for it! And good for you for looking into it and…
  • Yeah seriously try some yoga. It sucks making yourself get all stretched out when all you want to do is swallow a bottle of advil and curl into a ball, but I promise it will start to feel better really quickly once you start. Hope you feel better doll!
  • Well, girly, it sounds to me like you already have a lot going for you! I feel your pain about the knees, I lived with my aunt last summer who's had very similar struggles. She's diabetic, and at least 300lbs. To top it iff she has scoliosis and arthritis in her knees so bad she can barely walk, but the doctor's won't…
  • Low carb pad thai! Seriously, I love this. It's a hungry girl recipe, but I slightly modified it because I'm afraid of those "no cal" noodles they love so much. Sauce: They basically mix ketchup, lime juice, garlic, and some other stuff in to make theirs, but I just find it easier to buy a package of pad thai seasoning,…
  • You don't NEED to eat 6 times a day, and you certainly don't need to subject yourself to liquid dinners. Just sticking to what MFP lays out for will definitely yield results, and will be much easier to follow. If you haven't been eating clean and healthy and made it a lifestyle for quite some time now, please don't get…
  • Because I wake up every morning and tell the world to bring it. Cause I know I can deal =)
  • I've done moderate low carb before. Like p90x phase one, 50% protein, 30% carb, 20% fat. Relatively clean eating. I found the fat stripped off super fat, and it gave me loads of energy. I've honestly never felt that good. It is really difficult to keep suck a close eye on your macros though. I found it really hard to stick…
  • Metabolic resistance training for the win here! Basically any exercise that involves weight (even if it's just body weight) done at a fast, HIIT style pace, is going to give you the best of both worlds. You can easily get away with doing 10-20 min a day with this stuff and get great results.
  • I've done portion controlled plans, and they work just fine, especially if the portions are laid out for you, as odds are a dietician (or several) has already figured out all of the cals etc. The problem I have with them is when I eat something "off the plan" it ruins my whole day, and I let it get to me. Whereas with…
  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGUtWTxYD-8&feature=related This one's pretty tough, but seriously, just youtube kettlebells workouts. You could do a different one everyday if you wanted to!
  • They're okay as a protein source, and very low in calories. Personally I'd eat the whole egg though, or at least mix them in with one, because most of the nutrition is in a yolk.
  • I think you're supposed to do each level for 10 days (according to the program) But when I did it I found moving on from the first after about a week was fine, spent a little longer on level 2, and then had to alternate between 2 and 3 for a few days before I could fully handle 10 straight days of level 2. The point of the…
  • Hahah I just watched a bit of the video on your home page! I love Physician's formula, in fact I think I might have the exact same bronzer. I have two of them, ones pink and fairly light, and the other's more like the one you bought. Hope you like your new auburn hair! =)
  • I'm getting my first at some point! I'm getting "There's nothing left to fear." written on the side of my right foot. I'm just not sure if I want to wait for it as a reward. It's sort of my little mantra, whenever I feel down or like I don't know where to turn, I say it to myself over and over and I know this is lame, but…
  • I have a sad little chest to begin with, so not much in the way of help regarding your question, but I have one thing to say, ladies, please, please, please, MOISTURIZE! Religiously! I swear you will regret it if you don't lol.
  • Yeah from what I've heard the general consensus is you just can't get rid of them. I have tons from being overweight as a kid. Like literally every inch from my upper thighs to my bellybutton. HOWEVER, I have found that goo bottle of bronzer will do wonders in hiding them. Honestly, with a little extra skin colour, I can…
  • Noooo idea but I do pole too, and I'd love to know haha! I imagine it would depend a lot on what your doing too. Obviously you're gonna burn waaaay more cals doing inverts and holds than you would just doing spins, but I think it'd be hard to get a realistic number without a heart rate monitor. (Which would frankly just…
  • I actually work at a Pita Pit lol! Not sure if they have a lot of them in the US, but I know that most of pitas can definitely fit into even a really clean diet. Just stay away from the gyros, BLT's, and falafel lol.
  • Unless I'm in a rush I don't prefer "snack" type foods. I just make another meal, but smaller sized portions so that it's around the 200cal mark =)
  • I usually get 7 and a half. I find Even if I set my alarm later, unless I'm sick or hung over, I'm up before the alarm.
  • I was actually just about to suggest that! My boyfriend's the same way, so whenever he gets down I ask him to fix my computer. I've intentionally downloaded viruses before just to give him something to do lol! But it is something he's good at. He's not so much the handyman type, but he's kind of geeky and quite proud of…
  • I started smoking over the summer and can honestly say it was the second dumbest thing I've ever done. I started dropping a lot of weight at first mainly because I'd rather smoke then eat, and it made me not hungry even when I should have been eating. (Honestly to this day, when my tummy grumbles, I usually think about…

  • As far as I know the phone app has only been fully released for Iphone, and they're beta testing Blackberry right now. I could be wrong, but I think you're going to have to wait for awhile =p
  • Haha aww, I hope you guys like it! I've tried it once with a little bit of vanilla extract too, I found the vanilla overpowered the avocado a bit, but it was pretty awesome if it were meant to be a vanilla milkshake! And much healthier haha.
