  • Thank you all for your input and encouraging words. I am finally feeling a bit better today. I think it is probably a combination of the electrolytes, inflammation response to migraine (which I had not thought of but makes sense) and I do have some allergy stuff going on as well. I definitely have also had days where I was…
  • I didn't think that could be it since I've been keto for over a month (I stay under 20g net carbs) - can this happen at any time while you are keto? I do heavily salt everything and am not doing anything different this time than I have previously - I think that is what makes it so frustrating.
  • I still drink diet soda - usually a couple cans a day but maybe more on the weekends and have still lost steadily. I've thought about trying to cut it out but it is like my sweet treat at the end of the day.
  • I've been Keto/LCHF since mid-March and am down 56lbs. It has also helped my inflammation issues, cleared up my skin, and given me more energy! :)
  • UGH, I am up 1 pound from last week as of today... thank goodness weigh in wasn't Monday because I was up more :( Had family in over the weekend and definitely splurged. And will have to admit I caved and ate 1/3 of an apple fritter this morning which has left me dreaming of other things I would love to eat today (nothing…

  • A day late, but I'm here! I need to step it up in way too many areas... I think to keep from overwhelming myself I will do it like this: September Goal: Lose 10lbs (hopefully this isn't just a dream, but this would get me into One-derland!) Week 1 Goal: Step up logging and get back to less than 20g net carbs a day If I can…
  • The Keto diet for me has been a game changer. I agree that it may not work for some, but I also believe that for some it is the diet that will work best. I first started researching the Keto diet because I was told it can be helpful for other health issues, not just weight loss, specifically helping with inflammation. I…
  • So exciting seeing everyone's progress! I unfortunately have had some issues with stomach ulcers - spent the month of July living off crackers and sprite and lots of nausea meds  but finally felt that this was the week to get back on track and have lost 2lbs already! Whoop! SW: 256lbs (3/7/16) Today's Weight: 211…

  • A little late, but like others this is great timing for me! I have been LCHF since 3/7/2016 and have lost 30lbs so far - However, I have had a few ups and downs already (lost my grandmother last month (sorry to hear of your loss as well @baconslave) and was on vacation last week (which included vacation from my diet as…
  • I'm looking for more LC/Keto friends myself - trying to stay under 20g/day. Feel free to add me!
  • In the 4 short weeks I've been into this WOE I have lost 15lbs, reduced depression and anxiety, don't feel bloated all the time, have much more energy, generally just feel happier and more positive. I am very hopeful with more time I will see some of the reduction in inflammation and joint pain as well.
  • I was on Metformin for a while after I was diagnosed back in 2008 - I don't remember any bad side effects but I did end up finally getting pregnant after I started taking it. We had been trying for almost 2 years and after 2 months on Metformin it finally happened. I haven't taken it since then.
  • Feel free to add me as well. I started 4 weeks ago and have lost 15 pounds.... looking to lose 60 more. Always good to have friends to help along the way.
  • It's frustrating adding from the app but you can click a name from this thread, then click their name again and then you should see the add friend button.
  • Not necessarily new, but finally back on the wagon and looking for others to help stay motivated! Feel free to add me!
  • Hello All - I am 35, 5'6" and would like to lose 75 to 90 more pounds. I have struggled with my weight all my life and have tried "diets" numerous times throughout the years. I too struggle with health issues and medications that have put on pounds that in turn make my health issues worse - I am sick of this cycle and…
  • I am a newbie - have been doing LC for a little over 2 weeks now and am seeing pretty good weight loss but am still struggling with cutting out "sweetened" things... So, I am interested in the All Animal April as I think it may help me break those habits. Question though: what is included in the allowed "high fat/low carb…
