That's a great idea!

Great responses! I don't think it's too much of a hassle and I think I'll always do it. It's just hard to imagine being like 80 years old and still keeping track of everything lol. I like the few of you who use it when the scale starts to creep up. I still have a lot to lose but if (when) I get to a healthy weight I can…

I don't have the hrm :(

Soooo... should I check out bodybuilding.com? LOL! Thanks so much guys :) I'll check it out fo' sho!

THANK YOU! This was exactly what I was asking. Literally the first line of the post was "I want to make it clear that this is a not a whiney "I'm not losing post". Seriously. I'm never using the forums again.

This is why I hate posting on forums. Learn to read. As I said in my posting, and in another comment, and apparently AGAIN- I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY LOSSES. I SAID THAT TWICE IN MY POSTING AND AGAIN IN A COMMENT. Please read the above statement instead of skimming my posting and being a total jerk. The question was CLEARLY…

If you would have read the post I said I was happy twice, just CURIOUS to see why I can't pull big numbers as easily as others. And two pounds a week is safe.
-
I'm not really stressing, more just curious, you know? And that's a "big" number in my book, I average a 1/2-1 pound. Still proud! Just wondering if anyone had any idea's or are the same way.
-
Oh! And I wish I hadn't wasted all that time eating just 1200 calories, yuck! That was awful (and harmful)
-
I totally agree with the pictures and the weight training, I also wish I would've actually measured what I ate. I "Guesstimated" a lot and I was soooo off (which I know, because I measure it now, lol). I wish I would have found clean eating sooner.

AMAZING! On a weird side note.... you look A LOT like Kelly Clarkson :)

Feel Free to Add, I'm an open book :)

^This, a thousand times. Yes.

When you watch someone scarfing down a bunch of nasty food (One occasion in particular comes to mind, two quarter pounders, fries, tea, and a side of ranch) and it literally makes you want to gag thinking of all the grease and salt. YUCK!
-
People notice pretty quickly with me because the first place I lose is in my face! I have chubby cheeks and I always slim down on my face first for some reason, so people were noticing after the first ten pounds. If you look at my profile picture it shows my face pretty well.
-
Those are some great compliments! I can't wait until someone tells me I don't need to lose anymore.

I think my husband and I have different strengths, but overall I think he's a smarter person than I am. I'm okay with that. He never treats me like I'm stupid and has a great deal of respect for me. I certainly don't think I'm dumb as a box of hair or anything, but he can grasp things much faster than I can and has a…

You look amazing! You look like you've lost way more than 25 pounds, Jealous! Congrats!
-
I totally agree with you! People get so brave behind a keyboard. It's ridiculous. There's nothing that will change them though, so it's best to just ignore the jerks and try to stay positive. People who like conflict flock to the internet, it's just too easy.

I actually don't know what my potassium intake is.. I usually eat a banana a few times a week, but I will up it for sure!

The last two weeks have been pretty crazy, so my diary isn't what it should be, but this has been happening since January, I normally reach my food goals and I'm careful to get all my protein. My trainer and I stretch before and after each workout, she's as clueless as I am, haha! But I'll try to up my protein a little…

Wow guys! I did NOT expect so many replies! Thanks everyone for taking time out to help me out and give me some advice. A few points 1) He does want to lose weight. He gets in these huge fits and decided "This is it! I'm going to do it!" Yet, when the time comes he blows it off. I already work out three days a week with a…

Of course this is just a public forum and I don't know your personal situation but I will tell you that I volunteer at a domestic violence shelter and am currently in school to be a social worker and you're situation sounds very dangerous. There are many abusive red flags and I am afraid of where your relationship may take…

Thanks guys :). I guess I'm just trying to not get discouraged. It sucks how easy it is to gain weight but how hard it is to lose it. I know I need to set short term goals instead of just envisioning the end result, I'm just not sure where to start. I'm not very good at gauging myself- but I'm going to look back into my…

That's a really tough one! I don't feel like anyone can really give you advice because we don't know your personal situation. I would keep discussing it with him, and having a very open and honest coversation. If you still can't reach a conclusion, try going to a mediator, like a therapist or someone that can give you an…

Add me too! 21 year old full time college student majoring in Social Work. I live in Arkansas and I'm married with no kids. I used to be skinny in high school but graduated and gained a bunch of weight. I've been struggling with it for years but have managed to lose 30 pounds in all. Currently I'm working out with a…
