I try to get at least 8 cups of that in a day. Sometimes I run it through some ground roasted coffee beans first. I always liked the shop on the perimeter of the supermarket rule of thumb. Make most your meals from those raw ingredients.

I really like the taste of grilled cedar planked asparagus. It actually works better if you get the cedar papers as you can roll them around 4-5 spears at once. Add a little EVOO and salt.

I look at everyone's diary on a daily basis. Although I don't always comment, I do spend the time looking through them. The iphone app makes this a lot easier, although some diaries don't show up properly on it.

I know we are all entitled to our opinions but I completely disagree with this statement, and think it is dangerous advice. A multivitamin contains only a few hundred (at most?) compounds, many of which are synthesized. To say that taking a MV is the same as fruits and vegetables is false, as there are thousands of…

Start by signing up for a single weekly fitness class at a local gym or rec center. You end up working out with the same people the whole time and are more motivated to go. By paying for a class, it may be easier to find/make time because if you don't show up you just end up wasting money. Ours here are usually all 12…

Although Hemp protein powder was mentioned, try adding Hemp Hearts (Hemp Seeds) to your smoothie or salad.

Try some higher quality locally made chocolates. If you are looking for a chocolate substitute, that isn't "typical chocolate" then try eating raw cacao beans. While bitter, it does taste pretty good. You can add it to smoothies as well.

I am going to have to try them this way. Sounds good. We use them to make borscht soup, with lots of vegetables and dill. Sorry that I don't have a recipe available right now, but we are making some later in the week.

All natural deli meat may still contain nitrates (used as a preservative) listed as "Celery Extract". Although a naturally occurring form of nitrates may be better, you should limit the amount of deli meat if you are concerned about them. it might still be a case of clever marketing. If you want the healthiest sandwich…

I haven't looked for such a group, but think it's a fun idea. I'm in, and like the idea of a theme ingredient.

Agreed. Made this for the first time two weeks ago. I know it's not as healthy, but the homemade marshmallows were fun to make with the kids (after they cooled) around Christmas time. My son has an egg allergy, so we wanted to make some at home after he had a reaction to some that we purchased at a local store.

I prefer the micro brews to the big breweries, and have even done some all grain brewing in my garage. I am a big fan of any Indian Pale Ale or English Bitter. The hoppier (I know it's not a word) the better! Some favorites right now are: - Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA - IPA (USA) - Alley Kat Full Moon - West Coast Pale Ale…

You could still make the Turkey stock without the Celery, and add it later when you use the stock to make the actual soup. Adding other vegetables and spices will help as well. We typically add carrots, onions, and garlic to make the stock.

Agree completely with this. Your body will get more benefit from eating more servings then taking fiber supplements. Coffee and dried fruit (Prunes) also help.
