If I understand what your saying, its because once your heart rate gets to a certain rate or % you are no longer in the burning fat range.

Basically.... you just do it. I work full time and in school also, its so hard! But if it matters to you, you find time!

I just looked at your diary, your not eating much and working out a lot! It would make sense for you to lose that much during the first week. Keep it up, your doing a great job!

145 is way to low I think, but then again 450 is too high I would say. I would go with about 300 just to be on the safe side, but invest in a HRM!!!

It doesnt always come off that fast. I had WLS 5-17-10 and to date lost 30 pounds since then, the other 30 have been on my own. Its not always quick and fast.

No microwave? WHATTTT! Sneak a george foreman in. Cafe food is horrible! I gained 30 pounds in college, I have no idea how I would lose weight, the food is so bad :-( I lost like 15 pounds when I was trying in school, I lived on fresh sandwhiches and salads.

Plus cubed steaks dont have much fat in them, nothing really drips down.

I cook my cubed steaks on the George Foreman all the time. I put it on high and cook for about 4-5 minutes depending how you like your steak. You can tell they are done just by looking at them, but if you have to cut one open and make sure its cooked.

For your hands you can get gloves, but you shouldnt be holding onto the machine anyways. For your feet, have you considered different shoes?

Not sure if I believe in this. Everyone is different and I barely drink water and have lost 62 pounds. I just dont like water. yuck!

I cant control myself around junk foods, esp icecream. I just need to not be around it while I get to my goal weight.

Maybe try watching your carbs a bit. Not saying going on a low carb diet, just saying they look a bit high, I know when my carbs are high thats when the weight stops coming off. Also you need to start working out, I cant lose any weight without working out. Chaning how you eat is very important but working out will help :-)

I have had a trainer since Febuary and I love it, but at $400 a month the love for it is no longer there. I have 23 paid sessions and then I think I need to take some months off :-(

I don't count housework or cleaning, I dont even count taking my dogs for a walk, I feel like thats just everyday life. The only time I count my calories is when I work out and go off of my HRM.

Do you get the chest strap wet enough or is it tight enough? I realized once I lost 60 pounds that it kept saying 00 it needed to be tightened up a lot!!
