  • Hi everyone! Today is day 1 for Insanity. My fit test was sooo bad! I completed a Spartan Race in March so now when I want to quit, I remember that I completed the most insane race. I am not fast yet am consistent. Let's help each other succeed!
  • Use a tape measurer instead of a scale. This helps you to track inches and can keep you motivated. I am 170+ yet in size 10/12 and some 8.
  • I do Zumba at home. I can get as loud as I want. I can wear crazy stuff to work out in and my dogs ignore me. HAHA! Just get up and move.   • You can add me. I am working towards a Spartan Race in March. I have 130 days to be able to run 3 miles with multiple obstacles thrown in for added fun.I can run about .5 mile. Its all good.....
  • Try to sing or chant while exercising. This will make you breathe and you can listen to how hard you are working. I do this and have just starting to jog and I'm 43 years old with bad legs ankles. You can get there!! have faith
  • Remember that muscle weighs more that fat. Look at what type of exercises you are doing. Less weight and more reps/sets will build lean muscle. Yoga/pilates will build strength and lean muscle. I am in the same boat! My mom is big and I have that fear in a big way. Start focusing on the positives YOU do and that will help…
