Hi all. I'm looking for some diabetic friends on here too. I've done many diets and know what I need to lose weight but the big thing for me now is my blood sugar. It has been around 7 every morning this morning which is good for me. Looking to improve that.

Thanks. This helps a lot!

First of all, huge congratulations! Can I ask, what kind of stuff were you eating? I'm type 2 aswell and I'm going to use this app again. Did you restrict carbs or just eat 'healthily'? Thanks in advance!
-
Thanks! Will do

Hi. I was diagnosed about 18 months ago and have a very similar story to yours! I'm very much a sugar/carb addict and realise this is something that needs to be addressed asap. I'm going to use MFP again to monitor my carbs etc. Good luck!

I'm interested in this too. I'm type 2 and on meds but want to get off this them. I think low carb is the way. I work nightshift so would love some ideas too

You look amazing and as people have been saying, as if you are at goal! Well done! Btw, your stats are very similar to mine (height, start weight and goal weight)..as I've just started my journey, this is very inspirational!

yeah I've put my goal weight to be around the 161 area.. so currently have 1380 cals a day for a 2lb loss per week but would be around 1900 when maintaining at 161..sounds fine to me!:)
-
yeah I changed the settings so I could see and I now have 50 cals less a day to eat since I have lost 12 pounds. That's good enough for me as I eat less anyway..
-
Thanks..I did that and see that I would get around 450 cals more a day. That's good

Hi I'm in Edinburgh and yip, I think the idea of sharing uk-based recipes is great.. feel free to add me

The first 2, I can more or less agree with. 5 years ago, I began to lose 5 stones with the cambridge diet. Loved it. However didn't reach my goal and subsequently, put most of it back on. When I got to the point of being just 4 pounds less than my original highest weight, I realised I had to take action. I also get…

mine is public!

that's a great idea and may just do the same! :)

This looks yummy but I need to try and find the UK equivalent for some of the ingredients..

Very motivational - thank you!

Thanks! I'll see where they order from and take the advice from here. It'll probably just be something vegetarian or chicken based. I will avoid the fried stuff for sure.

Yes! I love diary sharers too. And you what ? I just checked and amended mine to public too. (didn't realise I had set it to private - oops) Thanks!
