  • Hello Donuts _n_squats, well back. The name is awesome!!!
  • Murph- 2020 For time: 1 mile Run 100 Pull-ups 200 Push-ups 300 Squats 1 mile Run Still dealing with the bad knees. As always I was the last on to finish but my time was 1:14:13. Good luck everyone!!!
  • Today we did Hotshot 19. I scaled the weight to 85 lbs and time last year but this time I finished in 50:40 which is six minutes off my last year’s time so I’m happy about that. The 10 lbs drop could of made the difference.
  • Hello, I use Crossfit BTWB
  • For 2019 I broke it up differently. After the 1 mile run I did 5 push-ups, 5 pull-ups, 5 push-ups, and 15 squats. I finished at 1:29:42, which is 9 minutes slower than last year. This year I’ve been dealing with a very bad knee and I haven’t been working out consistently so I know I was going to have to dig deep for this…
  • Murph- 2019 For time: 1 mile Run 100 Pull-ups 200 Push-ups 300 Squats 1 mile Run In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
  • Welcome!!!! I’ve been on injury reserve so I have not been consistent line I used to and scaling a lot of the workouts. Good luck with all your goals. It’s nice to have a plan. I need to redo mine but these knee issues just won’t let up.
  • I have not participated in any of the workouts so far. I've been having knee issues so I am taking it easy. I've really only been training once a week.
  • Working out for an hour, no problem, it’s the rest of the 23 hours I have to worry about. I’ll do good for a little while but stress is a killer for me. I stress, I crave the unthinkables and I eat.

  • Ouch that’s a lot of knee damage. Glad you’re still able to move around. I’m starting to make sure I get a nice warm up in before I start to workout.
  • Hello and Welcome. Like the previous poster said this group used to be a lot more interactive but that’s seem to have faded away. Well I’m from Texas and I’ve been doing it maybe 5-6 years now. My favorite moves are deadlifts and cleans. I hate any lift that has the word squat in it. Example, I love cleans but hate squat…
  • How ironic we just did Gelen last Saturday. I did not do well at all. That running was horrible.
  • Lol, nice. We are on fire here in Texas also with 100+ temperatures all week.
  • WOW, that looks painful. At least you had someone to push you.
  • Good job! Is just something to build off of.
  • WOW, I can’t imagine running a mile until 8 minutes. I know the pain of ripped hands but thankfully I didn’t rip this time. I had on my bear komplex wraps and they got me through. Way to go through!
  • Murph 2018: It is so hot in Dallas, TX right now. But I did Murph in 73:11. This year was my first time doing the pull-ups with no band. I broke it up into 5 rounds. I was able to beat my time from last year. Afterwards we ate a lot of food and had a water slide for the kids, it was so tempting.
  • Good job overall my friend. You are still training and making improvements. Sorry to hear about the shoulder though, that has to suck with all the lifting and overhead stuff we do. Be careful with that.
  • I never thought about the benefits of parkour and crossfit. That is a pretty interesting concept. Congrats on the the dubs. It took me forget to get the rhythm of those. Keep progressing.
  • I know. I’m still practicing.

  • That’s a cool plan. Parkour, really?!?! I seen it on YouTube and it looks awesome. But I have also seen parkour fails so be careful. I hope you are staying close to the ground, like just parkouring off a park bench. But good luck to you and I hope you achieve your goals.
  • For me I really want to focus on three things: 1) My endurance. I plan on during more sprint work instead of just running 5 miles at a steady pace. I have the Zombie's Run app that I really enjoy. I need to up the number of times I get chased and work on going from a steady pace to a faster pace then steady again. 2) I…
  • I'm sure the view was gorgeous up there. hehehehe.

  • Good job, you have to start from some where. I have been doing ring row work also to work on using my lats and exploding through the rings. This will hopefully help me with that last pull I need for chest to bar pull-ups.

  • Redid the workout. I did RX weight and kipping pull-ups. I got a score of 61.

  • Well a disappointing 18.5 so far. I did my 3 thrusters and spent the remaining time trying to do a chest to bar. I even went back that evening to practice and I'm like 0-60 now. Each time I'm like 1-2 centimeters away for the bar. Literally that close. Monday I will do it again and this time go scaled with the kipping pull…

  • I plan on doing this workout at 12 today. I'm going to try RX. I cannot do C2B pull ups but I will try.
