I never used to see the point of cheat days, i agreed with most of you that it was undoing your hard work. But i've started to now - but I call it a spike day, not a cheat day. I eat my BMR and I don't eat my exercise calories, and then one day in the week i have my BMR x 2. Its really just eating all of my exercise…

I shopped around, i really like Polar the best, I also have the FT7, its great. Mine is red, goes faster! :D The model down i think only has the plastic strap and doesn't store as many exercise entries.

It would only be wrong if they said that a pound of muscle weighs more than a pound of fat. Otherwise ofcourse they are referring to volume/density!

There's a note at our gym above the weights "if you're strong enough to use the weights, you're strong enough to put them away" :laugh:

Awesome presentation! I was always told to do less heavy weights and more reps so i don't 'bulk up', but I think i'm going to start lifting heavy :)

Yep, you retain water to mend your muscles! But just remember that the weight is just water, not fat and it will go away again :)

Yep, you only need to log your weight updates, and do the rest on MFP like normal. I think how much you stick to their meal plans and exercises is a little optional. We just have a MFP team to show everyone how its done! Our team name is Aussie MFPers for anyone here who'd like to join us :D

I don't think its going to matter too much if you wanted to wait, as your heart rate will come down fairly quickly (and progressively faster the fitter you get) But personally i just stop it when I finish - I might forget otherwise! 9 1/2 mins. I did 50 and then stretched, then lots of 25 with stretching after that as I have really tight calves! HRM says 60 calories :glasses:

Depends a little on climate and exercise too. On really hot days we're meant to drink 1 litre (34 oz) per hour we're out in the sun. And obviously if you're doing lots of exercise you need more water too to make up for sweat lost
