Another one for form. Do the light work, enjoy it, the weight will get heavy quick enough. And as mentioned, that's where you will want the best form. I have on occasion dropped weight also just to refocus on form. I say be patient. Good luck on your lifts!

From the website : †Celsius alone does not produce weight loss in the absence of a healthy diet and moderate exercise. Whether you walk the dog, play tennis or exercise at the gym, make Celsius part of your daily regimen. I'm guessing the disclaimer trumps all other claims. Wonder if its available in Canada? lol

I dunno. I will ask my doctor why he told me one of my meds causes weight gain. Ill get back to ya.

Just do it! Lol. I was partial to lifts anyway, but for me this write up pushed me into it more. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/02/01/what-burns-more-calories-cardio-intervals-or-weight-training/ The numbers on the scale are just numbers. What you see in the mirror will be what counts imo. Give it an honest try. You…

The best advice would be to talk with a doctor about it. Form is also important. Take the time to focus on it. Even if it means going lighter. Bad form with heavy lifts is a big risk for unnecessary pain or worse. Make sure your doing things correctly. Judge the pain. Sharp shooting pain is never typically good. A dull…

I do 2 x 5 empty and 1 x 5 with a comfortable weight Then go! Definitely a good idea to get a couple in before you go heavy.

Enjoy it now. Take the time to focus on form when things are light. I know some guys ramp up quicker than the program suggests, but for me, I started at the bar, even though it seemed ridiculous. It doesn't take long to start hitting heavier weights. And that's where proper form really will play a role IMO. Good luck with…

You already know my thoughts. But id say stick with the program. Use lighter weights. Progression. It will come. As for form. Check either the stronglifts site, youtube, or starting strength book for pointers. Proper form can make a lift better or easier. It should be your focus right now.

Yeah I remember the 30 minute days. Those were nice lol. Im anywhere from an hour to hour and fifteen typically, sometimes longer, that's 3 warm up sets ( 2 bar, 1 weighted) and then my 5x5 working sets. Seems reasonable I guess. Thanks guys.

Looks good man!

Yeah, don't give it up man. I don't think your saying that anyway. The fails are where you build strength. However, I have done what you mention temporarily in the past and even now. Im 38, fat. And almost 20 weeks in. 12 weeks was a pipe dream for me, I started with the bar, which was crazy to me as far as weight, but I…

Wow, just incredible. Thanks for the inspiration!

I seen the gains and improvements shown here often. Actually it is what got me started on 5x5. Ive been at stronglifts for just over 4 months. Not going to lie, definitely not the improvement I had hoped for so far. Strength sure, fat burn, not so sure. Im sure diet is a large part of this, least for me.Working on that.…

Hope you recover quick. I had sharp pain in my back a few weeks ago. Tried to push it one more set. Got 2 reps. No lifty for a week after that. Even then I scaled back a little moving forward. Listen to your body folks. Certain pains are not normal.

I just bought this one, It got some pretty good reviews. Ozeri Touch 440 lbs Digital Bathroom Scale in Black -- Measures Weight, Body Fat, Hydration, Muscle and Bone Mass with Auto Recognition Technology http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B003N4AVKE/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But I hate scales. lol

Keep focusing on form before adding weight. You need to train your muscles for that too. 1/2 hour at the start was about where I was also. I miss those days so enjoy them lol. Another resource is Mark Rippletoe's Starting strength. There is a book and if you know your way around the internet , a dvd. The dvd is cheesy but…

So, some thoughts. I just banged out 5x5 at 100lbs tonight. I did adjust width, grip and form a few workouts ago. After a few workouts back at 95, the 100 didn't feel so bad. Still tough, but got full 5x5. We will see at 105 I guess. I would say to look closely at your body position, grip width, and grip position. Check…
-
I think 105 for me. However, I also didn't feel it was pretty enough form lol. I dropped to 95lbs, adjusting form and grip. I honestly feel it much better and after 2 rounds at 95, i feel better about moving into 100 and going from there.

In. Because: boobies! And seriously, good luck. :) Oh, feel free to add too.

I do 2 warm up sets with the bar. Another 1 with added weight. Then my working weight. Dunno if its legit, but, thats how im doing it so far. Seems fine to me. I like lifting but I also dont want to do it all night.

I believe its a one time change.

Yes. Settings up top in a browser window. Change user name.

depends on your strength level now. I suspect though that 15lbs wont go far. But I say if your interested in some strength training, there are body weight routines you can consider.

Stick with them. They suck here too. But it's going to pay off. But only if you do it. I am at my first deload with them and struggling with it for sure. Im also considering dropping it a little more yet to refocus on form and a complete set that feels good. Stick with it man! You will get results!
