Mine: All of the girls who come wearing a full face of makeup with their hair down and then stare judgementally at me for sweating. I thought that was the purpose of the gym, but apparently I was wrong. It's to wear spandex and walk at 1 MPH on the treadmill.

I got a "Beurer" scale at Bed, Bath & Beyond for forty bucks that tells you a) your weight b) your body fat percentage c) your water percentage and d) your muscle mass percentage. Thank you guys so much :) For the love handles question - I just ran on the ellipticals a lot, did some strength training (light weight lifting) and cut out pop and alcohol! Hey, My BMR is around 1,500. I've changed up my goals a few times, but usually my caloric intake is supposed to be somewhere between 1,300 and 1,500. I ALWAYS eat at least 1,300, even on my rest days. When I work out, I eat some (but not all) of my calories back. Hope that helps. :)
