I am giving up diet soda.... Also, I am making a commitment to go through my closets and anything I can't fit in (and those I do fit in but rarely ever wear) I will donate to a shelter.

I'm 5' 3". My initial goal is to reach 140# just to be in the "Healthy" range. After that I would like to be between 125-130# for good!

My doctor suggested the same thing to me, too. I eat a granola bar about 30-45 minutes before and drink G2 during. I also suspend my pump during cardio workouts but only reduce when only doing weights.

My Zumba instructor wears a HRM w/ chest strap. At the end of class she usually gives us the amount of calories she burned. Mostly between 800-950 calories for a 60 minute class. Dirty Martini is my FAVORITE!!! 6 oz. w/ 3 olives is about 180 calories. Plain vodka with a little water and olive juice. The olive juice can come from either the jar of olives or most grocery stores sell dirty martini mix.

Civil Engineer here!!! Just got my license last month... Studying for the PE exam from May-Oct definately contributed to my wait gain- lack of exercise and bad eating habits. I'm about to start my last semester in graduate school. I soooo know your pain!
