no worries i just wanted to make sure you saw it....i went up to 187 so i know i will blast the first bunch off right away like when you first start a new plan with my body shedding the extra weight quick at first....anyway, i appreciate it and i look forward to the first pretty new chart...have a great visit with your family.....safe travels home...

Kristen: Wow !! what a big group. Looks like we all have some competition.
Nothing like competing with your neighbor to get us and keep us motivated. :bigsmile:
I have not been weighing this week, trying to get rid of the sodium and bloat before I
weigh in. Ate the last of the ice cream last night and only have a few cookies left
for New Year's Eve. Then everything goes out !!
I will probably weigh in on Saturday, I hope that should get me down by then. We will see

i got back on the wagon on the 26th...ate so much(mostly the sweets, cookies, candies and cakes)...since the 26th i have lost a couple of pounds(lots of sodium, ii guess)eating well, exercising, and LOTS of water, has helped....will weigh in on monday...thanks kristen for this challenge....HAPPY NEW YEAR to all:flowerforyou: :drinker:0

Boy, could I wave my flag, then!

Hi All! I missed the intro thread. I did the Hubba Hubba challenge, and have to say what a great & supportive group. Weight & fitness wise, I started that challenge off fabulously! Then we had some major life stress (2 sisters preggo - 1 almost died in last pregnancy, so delivery was scary)... newborn nephew has rare metabolic disorder, sister almost had nervous breakdown from the above + lots more medical that went on with her & twins...)
Needless to say, my sisters & I are very close - so I was a nervous wreck worrying about them before/during/after & spent about every other weekend out of town to help her. Since I work nearly full-time & have 3 kids (5,7,9) - my workouts & healthy eating fell by the wayside.
So, I'm Amy. Not sure what my starting weight will be Monday, but I'm guessing ~202(ish). I hope to lose a consistent 1-2#/week (more would be great, but I'm attempting to be realistic). So, that would make my goal to lose 21#'s over this journey.
I really want to be a better example to my kids. I'm a snacker, and I don't want them to pick up this habit. I definitely need to exercise more.
Looking forward to this Egg-cellent challenge!
