Hi All! I missed the intro thread. I did the Hubba Hubba challenge, and have to say what a great & supportive group. Weight & fitness wise, I started that challenge off fabulously! Then we had some major life stress (2 sisters preggo - 1 almost died in last pregnancy, so delivery was scary)... newborn nephew has rare metabolic disorder, sister almost had nervous breakdown from the above + lots more medical that went on with her & twins...)
Needless to say, my sisters & I are very close - so I was a nervous wreck worrying about them before/during/after & spent about every other weekend out of town to help her. Since I work nearly full-time & have 3 kids (5,7,9) - my workouts & healthy eating fell by the wayside.
So, I'm Amy. Not sure what my starting weight will be Monday, but I'm guessing ~202(ish). I hope to lose a consistent 1-2#/week (more would be great, but I'm attempting to be realistic). So, that would make my goal to lose 21#'s over this journey.
I really want to be a better example to my kids. I'm a snacker, and I don't want them to pick up this habit. I definitely need to exercise more.
Looking forward to this Egg-cellent challenge!

It's not just a new year, it's a new ME!

Hosting a New Year's Eve Party tonight. Going to "skinnytaste.com" to plan some healthy choices for me! Drinking won't be an issue, I'm pretty much a 1/2 glass of wine kind of girl. Plus - we'll have babies here (1-2 months old) and pretty sure I'll be holding one of my nieces/nephews the whole night (excellent b/c I can't eat/drink when holding them! - plus my nephews are both a bit fussy, so I'll need to do the bounce walk pretty frequently).0
