Have they drastically increased their veggie intake? That could be the culprit. Then once you start with visiting the loo often it's a viscious circle. Tell them to add in some probiotics. Get a good stash of GOOD bacteria back into the gut. That could possibly help quite a bit.

I second caribougal totally. I only had 2 days of carb flu because someone clued me in to the higher fat part. Once I did that, carb flu was gone. It was super easy to stay in the 75g range just by cutting juice, bananas and grains out. I kept all my green leafy veggies along with my tomato, cucumber and carrots.

First off...I am super excited to see all the mums of 3,4 and more kids! Bigger families aren't so unusual anymore! I'm mum to 5...ages 10, 8, 7,3 and 3. I am making a recommitment to getting fit like I was btwn my 3rd and 4th/5th kids.

Sounds like the definition of teamwork right there!! :) And even the lack of a smartphone can't stop some people! Speaking from experience - I am likely one of the last of the dinosaurs to have a basic flipphone! :) I only access MFP via a real laptop.

I'm a SAHM mum of 5, but I also solo parent 14 days at a time as my husband works 2 provinces away on a 14/14 rotation. So - finding 'me' time is difficult. Wow...lthat same tub here in Manitoba is 27.95....insane. I would add in nuts, and fish too. No need to do the protein powder unless, like me, you enjoy "drinking your lunch" once in awhile. That's when I add in the protein powder. Coconut milk, protein powder, blueberries and kale is my favourite.

Not enough. Between five kids waking for various bad dreams, leg aches, potty tips and just crawl into bed with Mum moments, the dogs that decide at 4am they need to go out because they ate a box full of beets stored in the garage and the tap dripping that needs to be fixed...I don't sleep near as well as I should be.

I agre with the second part...go to a professional bra sop and get measured and try on bras. It's the only way. As for the FIRST part. It makes a difference for me. If I don't wear a bra, I am measuring a flat chest and a very large belly button area .... No joke...my boobs dangle to my waist without an over the shoulder…

So...should the fat be higher than the protein when talking percentages? I thought protein should be 1g per pound of lean weight? If I go by that, I end up with 40 and 40 for my protein and fat and 20 for my carbs.

I didn't eat a diet heavy in grains or legumes before, so it's not that hard to ditch them totally. But i fight to keep my fruit carbs down as that's how I have always dealt with my sweet tooth. A fruit instead of a cookie. Baby steps. Amazing tho how ditching grains completely changes your outlook on the "menu"! Lol
