Maybe your gaining muscle and losing inches. Try measuring yourself and go by how you feel. Also cut down on the carbs and salt and fats if your taking to much. I know this helps me. :D Good luck with your journey towards health and fitness.

I think there should be a discount for gym memberships. Some health plans do cover this as an incentive to be healthy. In Canada anyways and depends who your working for.

Ok I'll probably get alot of response from what I'm going to say. You said that you carry your weight on your back and top areas? Try strength training to burn the fat. I don't think you'll gain in the breasts, you'll burn off the fat as you develop better toning. Might want to try that.

:drinker: I would dump those *****es. Be proud of who you are and what your doing for yourself. They are just mean and you don't need that.

I know it can be very hard to keep everything in balance. Don't think of this as a diet. Think of this as a lifestyle change to better your future., Just keep on your walking and monitoring what you eat. Your doing well and may I suggest if you have cable to maybe see if they have exercise routines you can use. Sometimes…

Your doing great Diana! I have a body fat at a medium %age.. My bmi is at 22 % which is good and healthy for me. Your right about the health and the way you feel. It's taken me about 6 mo's to lose 25 lbs. And now I'm maintaining. I know it's hard sometimes but I am winning. This MFP is a "Win Win" situation. Just keep…

I would think size 8-10. And when you get down under 140 lbs the size may change to 6-8. Just saying that's what I've experienced. If you find yourself plateauing try interval training with a bit of weight strength training. This will be very beneficial. I'm speaking from my personal experience. Hope this helps. :)

I couldn't agree more. You need both.

How are your sugar levels? I noticed if carb levels are low sugar levels may be up. Something to watch. Aslo you might want to increase the intensity of your workouts. For example. If your walking on the treadmill try doing the incline at different levels to increase your heart rate and over a period of time you might…

Think of what you have done. don't think of what you haven't done. Remember slow and steady wins the race and helps you develp better eating habits...lol

I've tried the small packets of whey powders and really liked it. I noticed a difference in my energy levels. I think whey is the way to go if your lacking protein. :) I use mine with soya milk for the extra calcium and tastes soo good.

What a bunch of garbage the blood type diet.

I use Hummus as a spread instead of butter, marg or mayo. It's healthy and tastes great. There are different flavours. It's great as a veggie dip too.

I JUST STARTED on the Whey and love it! I usually mix it with 1/2 banana, and 2Tbs os grpound flax. Delicious and beneficial for my age. Mix with l cup of vanilla lite Soy.Soy for estrogen. Flax for omega properties. Ah yes also noticing soy has more calcium than milk. Also noticed my energy levels have inceased thru the…

I think your doing great. You have accomplished alot. Maybe cut out any white flour breads and start increasing the weights and change your cardio to interval cardio. Incline, then no incline, incline and no incline. This should shake things up a bit. The weights and cardio intravel training worked for me. Hope this helps.

Try weight lifting and forget about the scale and use the measuring tape/ This will make you feel alot better. BTW your doing great so don't worry about it to much

Welcome to the greatest tool to have for a food diary. You can monitor your nutrient levels and just by doing that you'll be able to make great choices. Cheers to your journey and hard work. You can add me if you like. Oh! I'm a Canadian too and live in Alberta! :D Jenny

People need to lighten up. I mean if everyone cared and kept a food diary, (mfp), then we wouldn't have the overweight problem in our country.

I noticed you didn't mention any whole grains in your post. Perhaps if a bit more fibre is in your diet it may satuate your hunger. Also drink lots of water. Maybe you need to eat just a bit more. Have you been loggin on your diary? That may help you monitor your nutrients. I find this helps me. Not all what dieticians say…

Well the real queestion is. DO you want to pay more for good healthy food now or do you want to pay for your health later. If you eat well and healthy your health bills will go down in the long run. So in the long run the choice is yours. Pay les for junk food or pay more for health care later on??? I also think fast food…

At the top of the menu go to "check in" and proceed from there. Your intake of calories seem to low for your weight. Also for exercise go to the "exercise" part on the menu and log in your exercise and mfp will find it for you. As for logging your food MFP will find the calorie amts for you that you logged in and will…

As a "Seasoned" MFP'er you should eat your calories back. Works well because MFP has you at minimal calorie intake to lose up to 1-2 pounds a week. Your body needs fuel and if you don't give it yfuel, your going to lose quality minerals and nutrition and your body will put itself into 'starvation' mode where it will keep…
