I agree, socks. I got them when I first started running and switching to a different more cushioned sock and that did away with them. I've now gone and gotten myself some socks that are specialized and have arch support and extra cushion on the ball of the foot.

Sigh! Mine hasn't moved, I need to get to my trainer again and ask him what to change up to get things rolling again.

I wonder if donating platelets does the same thing? I donate them as they are used toward people with like cancer and that's close to my heart.

I have four of them and they all have stories, I wouldn't put one on me that didn't have meaning. If it's going to be permanent it has to have a lifetime reason...I have my football team (Buffalo Bills) on my chest, hidden for work purpose. I have on my arm a sunflower (favorite flower) with my boys name enbraided into the…

I've tried it, it was good, but was told by my trainer that in trying to lose weight it has too much sugars in it. Though low cal, high fat and sugar.... I didn't drink anymore and found one that has less sugars and less fat to work with my goals and was less money...

43 here.....

I have been going to the gym for a long time, but I still hate walking in and feeling like everyone is watching you. I'm proud of you for making that step and doing it. And there are still machines that I haven't tried yet and wouldn't know how to start them so don't even feel embarrassed since they all start different…

Such a great progression!! Looking awesome!
-
I have started the C25K and that is how they have you start out. But I have had some of my running friends tell me that they do it sometimes to just catch their breath and such.
-
I definitely think that switching up is always a good thing, keeps your body reacting differently. I've done it by simply changing from free weights to using the machines for a bit, just because they do work the body differently.

The jacket I wear for my runs zips closed so I don't have to worry. But my son made me a shoulder pocket that I can wear underneath too if I switch jackets. I mentioned it and he literally made one for me out of jeans....

Uhhhhhh, no....there ain't no zero calorie foods, no matter how to work the spin.
-
Do you log WATER??? And where are these miracle "no calorie" foods other than water?? There ain't any!!!!
-
I put it in my vanilla protein shake and it makes a yummy shake. I take it and mix in some pumpkin pie spice and put it in my ice cube trays and freeze them. Then pop them out and use them as the ice in my shakes....yummm

Thank you. I didn't know if there was anyone that actually used them as part of their plan. I just don't want to use them and then have it throw everything off.

I bought a bag of the chews at GNC last week since it was B1/G1 and I got my yummy calcium chews....I digress, anyways, I don't feel any difference yet but I will probably know better at least after a week. No side affects or anything like that either. I figured I'd try them since they were free...

I don't eat them back, I mean the idea is to lose the weight so by putting the calories back in that you burned are you really burning them? You're replacing what you worked off.... so, in a sense you're really hitting a stalemate

I have signed up for the Be The Match as well, I also donate blood/platelets as much as I can. I try to at least once a month. I don't know anyone that has done the bone marrow donation, but lots of love to anyone that has. It's an awesome thing to do!! And I think saving or helping someone through it would be worth any…

Because of a prior try a couple years back, this time I started taking osteo biflex supplements when I started running and I had no problem at all starting up. I think if you do the C25K which I did, it might work good for your knees.
-
I started at 270-275 and had no problems, it's safe as long as you are healthy. I have another friend on here who started at an even higher weight...
-
I started running at 270 and down to 250 where I stalled because of a neck injury and surgery. I'm slowly starting to get back physically so I can run more consistently. My asthma gives me issues running at the gym and the 10 degree outside now causes issues to my asthma as well. I had no problem starting running at this…

PS....married for 23 years here
-
Yes, marriage is sacred, but like a consortium seems to say....what business is it of ours. There are many people out there that choose to have an "open marriage", though I think that can't really be possible, if it works for them. As for affairs and such, until you are in that situation and know the full scope of the…

Never got anything about a google spreadsheet to put info on.....I just posted on my page.

Doing good, staying on track. Had a bumpy weekend with no time at all to do much of anything, but made sure that I stayed under my calories.
-
Just keep slowly increasing, stay at this for a bit. I'm using the Couch to 5K program and that gets you slowly up to where we want to be. I actually seem to breath better running outside than in the gym, I think it's because of the warmth of the gym when it's cool outside myself.
-
Lightly active, I think that will offset and make it even out more.
-
Cardio should not be an issue, but the water....that always takes alot of initiative since I don't drink water.
-
Both together. I've done each separately and didn't really make measurable progress until I combined the two.
-
I'd like to know that myself. I get mine from GNC and can usually get it from between 25 and 30. I'm always nervous about different kinds. My digestive system is sensitive, I'll be nice and call it that, and can't do just any shake.
